2 Pack D4R 35W 4300K Xenon Headlight HID Bulb Replacement for Toyota HID Prius Headlight 2006-2009 Avalon 2008-2010 Replaces 42406, 90981-20029 (Not fit Halogen Headlight Bulb)

I bought these for my 2008 Toyota Prius touring model on a gamble due to the conflicting reviews. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. With the replacement bulbs generally ranging from $100-$200 each, these were only $18 for a pack of two. I installed them, and they have now had over 10 hours of running time and are working excellent. The brightness is good, not incredibly bright compared to most headlights these days but perfect for the driving we do. The install was very easy as well. So far so good and I will be buying these in the future.

Fit a 2008 Prius. Has worked for a few months now, no flickering, no other problems. Nice and bright, no complaints at this time.

The 4300k (color temperature) for me is the right spot. Toyota is factory 4300k. The Toyota has a slight yellow old school tint to it. It is MUCH more appreciated than today's LED lights completely blinding us. These are good quality. Good price. Installed. Look great. Bright. One thing to note, and it's actually a positive thing, is that the bulbs 4300k are much 'whiter' than the yellower 4300k. I like it. It's a bit whiter and brighter without being obnoxious. Improves some road clarity in dark environment.

Perfect fit for my 2009 Toyota Prius.

I just installed one of these today. The original light is a bit more white. This is a bit more yellow. You’ll want to replace both of them unless you’re lazy like me. For the price, I don’t care. They work well. So far. My Prius needed these instead of the other style. Not sure how you know without taking the old one out first, which is what happened to me.

After going by the guidelines that Amazon‘s system tells me that these fit my vehicle they didn’t.
