It really makes hair pitch black. Instructions were very easy to follow, just make sure you really want a black color because once it’s done it’s impossible to go back. My husband changed his mind after using it and it was not possible to revert to his previous color , even using a clarifying shampoo. Very effective black henna!

I used to use semi permanent hair dye. This henna is now my first choice. It's much less messy and easier to apply to hair. It's cheaper than semi permanent dye too. I did get a little on my counter top but I was able to remove the stain by letting bleach sit on it overnight. I left the henna on for an hour and the color is beautiful! It covered all my gray hairs.
