Timbuk2 Uptown Laptop Travel-Friendly Backpack

After much researching, I settled on this backpack. Pretty pleased with it. Good padded slot for the laptop, pretty well organized places for the rest of my gear. I'd call it a mid-range size backpack. Once my lunch is in there, it's fairly full. Yet the overall profile is still rather thin, which is what I wanted, not a bulky pack. It's apparently got a lifetime warranty, which is impressive.

It's my first time reviewing ever on amazon as this is the first product to warrant one. I was going out to be a digital nomad for three months in Europe and I had some key pieces that I was looking in a backpack:-can be doubled as a weekend bag for quick getaways, if needed.-had a laptop pouch up against the back that also had pockets to store passport and wallets.-had to have tons of pockets for random item stuffing for travel.I spent a good week hunting and reading reviews before finally breaking down and buying the TImbuk2 back and man, I haven't regretted it one minute.This baby was packed to the brim on my flight over here and didn't waiver a second. I had my laptop, wallet, hoodie, change of clothes, memory form neck pillow, cable organizer... all of it. It was heavy but obvious to be expected with how much I put into it. The laptop pouch made it easy for me to remove the laptop without needing to repackage it after for security.I use it daily for commutes to the work space and it's stylish enough that it just blends in but is efficient for my day to day stuff. I haven't used the bottle opener yet but everyone has a good laugh when I show them :) I haven't used it during a business event yet slowly because the opportunity hasn't come up but I definitl will be busting it out.A few others I'm with who are doing the digital nomad thing have already commented that they should have gotten something like this versus their bag as they constantly have to dig for things in it or how small it is.The price tag is a bit shocking for a backpack and, unless you plan on using it daily, need a ton of room, or are doing something similar like me where you are wandering, this is not a bag I'd recommend to the average person. You'd be better off getting a basic bag that can accommodate your needs as you won't get much use out of this one.If you plan on roaming around and working remote with a laptop, I'd highly recommend this one!

Excellent backpack for professionals! This is a great, durable, well-made backpack with a sleek design appropriate for professionals. Compared to more athletic backpacks (North Face, Patagonia, etc.), the material is thicker and will take daily commute wear well - this is my second TImbuk2 bag (first one lasted 8 years). I like the separate compartment for a laptop, two larger compartments for files and such, and two smaller sections.

Timbuk2だけあって背負った時のフィット感は問題ありません。ＴhinkPadを入れて持ち歩きましたが、特に問題はありませんでした。
