Works very well, if you know how to properly apply it.
I used this material to repair a pair of shorts made from 100% nylon. I patched a hole in the pocket and after 6 washings, it still looks like the first day I applied it.The only criticism I have is they could use better instructions. After a little trial and error, I found that using a clothes iron on a synthetic temperature setting with a thin cotton cloth as a "heat shield" did the trick. The cotton cloth helps to prevent accidental melting of the underlying material that is being repaired.

Easy to apply!
Loved how easy to iron on, quality of the patch and the extra length.

Excellent for patching
Color and adhesion is good. Have bought this product in two different colors and have yet to be disappointed.

Thin nylon repair material
Material works fine. It is thin so if you are looking to do a structural repair this is not the material. If you have a ripped jacket or something and just looking to prevent it from tearing further or leaking this will work fine.

Not for thin nylon on puffer coat
The tape seems good and very durable but is actually pretty thick. Others said it wasn’t though, so I cut off a bit and tested to see how much the glue side melts down. Its definitely way too thick for a tear in the delicate nylon/polyester on puffer down jackets if you are trying to mend something invisibly. I got the dark green, and the glue side is a much lighter yellow green fyi. Four stars because I’m sure it’s great and the quality seems fine but it wasn’t suitable for me. If you’re looking for something similar to my needs, I ended up just finding a very thin piece of polyester scrap and placing it inside the tear, then using thin double sided hemming glue tape to gently fuse them together. It worked great. It’s not a high traffic area that torn, it’s just very visible, so just lining up the fabric at the tear and gluing it from the inside worked.

Just what I was looking for
Inexpensive patches used to be sold everywhere. Not anymore.I was happy to find these, & shocked that they cost so much.

Patch used on a beach umbrella
We've had this canvas beach umbrella for over 10 years to cover sensitive plants from the intense sun during summer. It's a very sturdy 6 ft. umbrella & there's nothing wrong with it other than an occasional tear, so if it isn't broke we just iron on some patch material. This is a canvas umbrella, with some type of coating on the backside, so we decided to place a towel over the patch before ironing it, just in case. This patch seems to be holding up well, with no curled edges, even through some heavy wind gusts. (May try patching an umbrella that is polyester to see if the patch works).

Great for hockey equipment
I've tried a few different products for hockey equipment repairs - stuff that often gets worn like hockey socks (the synthetic non wool kind), gloves, hockey pants - this is the best product for it. Way better than trying to sew on a patch, because of the awkward shapes and angles of hockey gear. The slightly stretchy nylon adhesive patches are great. It just takes a bit of effort to iron (or heat gun) on. You need to have some patience and a nice backing (try a popsicle stick) to push against it rather than burning your finger off. Once it's properly adhered, it's super durable - so far a few of my patches have lasted a year with regular use for hockey (imagine lots of scuffs, banging, moisture, etc. - all holding up fine so far). I've made repairs on knees of hockey socks (nylon blend), surface of hockey pants (nylon), and even the palm of a hockey glove (leather) that wore out - all adheres excellent if properly applied.
