Hanes Women's Just My Size Seamless Bralette, Pure Comfort Light Support Pullover Bra, Plus Sizes

As a transwoman with growing buds I love this bralette. It minimizes me and is so comfortable on my two very sensitive new bright headlights. It comforts me like a warm hug. This is my daily while I maintain my cis gender look at work and church. The sizes are wonky. If your band is too big, it will roll up. I can attest to this. I wore the 5x size and thought it was too small so I tried 6x and it got worse. I went to 4x. Perfect. The growing girls stay put, look minimally flattering and no roll up. But normally I’m in a 3x or 22-24. I have a 48” under bust measurement and 55 inch over bust and growing. I see these as a comfortable “in between” until I shift to a full bra when it’s not as supportive and I’m ready to flatter. I actually tried many bralettes for my boxy frame and this one worked head over heels better than the others.

I am telling you, finding the right bra can be a real challenge. I know, I looked for years and spent thousands of dollars. One day I saw a package that didn't have all the complicated sizing. It just had 1X - 2X - 3X - etc. I thought this was crazy, but since I had tried everything else in the store, I bought a couple and I was amazed. They were a little tight, but oh so comfortable. They washed up like a dream and are easy to take care of. I went back to buy larger sizes, but there were none available in the store. My quest led me to Amazon where I have been buying every since. The pricing is so right that I have tons of them and never have to worry about waking up to find the bra drawer empty. I have been purchasing and wearing these bras for about 5 years now. I absolutely love them, but early on I discovered that the package sizing is not accurate. You really need to purchase larger than what is recommended. Once I started purchasing one size up from package recommendations I have been delighted to find I can wear this bra all day and not even think about it. They also last so you don't have to repurchase them every six months or so. Some of mine I have had 2-3 years and they are still going strong. If you are looking for a low cost, high value, comfortable bra that can be worn in most any situation, this is the one. I will say, that sometimes there are shirts in the summer that just don't work with this bra. The straps are wide - to provide extra support and comfort for us heavy chested women and the sides come high under the arms. This does provide a bit of a challenge to those cute, sleeveless tops in the summer. This is not the case with all sleeveless shirts, but I wanted to be upfront with my review. That said, I will take comfort over this challenge any day of the week. The various colors that are available do make this challenge surmountable in most cases. I absolutely love, love, love these bras and think you will too.

I am so happy with the JUST MY SIZE Hanes Women's Seamless Bralette! It’s incredibly comfortable and feels so soft against the skin. I would recommend sizing up, though, as it runs a bit smaller than expected. Once I sized up, it fit perfectly and was so much more comfortable. I’ve washed it several times, and it has kept its shape and softness—no shrinkage or stretching! The quality is excellent, and I can tell it’s going to last. I normally wear a 1x-3x in tops. I bought a 6x in this bra. I should have believed the reviews on this item saying it is too small, the size labeling is atrocious, and that the band rolls up. They're true. Some backstory on my situation: I am very ill and was recently diagnosed with a painful medical condition that makes it impossible to wear any of the bras, bralettes, or even tight camis I own and use to love to wear. I've been desperately searching for some kind of comfortable, soft, stretchy, not binding, bra or top similar to a sports bra to wear until I am better- that isn't a $200 post surgery bra, I'm just too poor for that. So, I went against my better judgement and got this item, because in the past this brand as worked well for me and my elderly chronically ill mother, while not breaking the bank- but, no dice this time. This bra is ridiculously small- it can barely fit my younger sister, who isn't even plus size! I will say though, it does stretch a lot, because when I first pulled it out of the package, I was shocked to see how small it is, like it looks like a small Juniors or large children's size lol, NOT a 6x in women's plus size. I spent half an hour trying to stretch it out using various methods with the help of my mom- still it wasn't large enough. I wore it to the store, just to see if maybe wearing it would help some, but there I discovered that unlike sitting still at home, any time I walk or move the band rolls up completely under your boobs. The fabric is nice, it does stretch a lot, but it is NOT a plus size top! If you are usually a medium-XL size you could probably get away with ordering a 5-6x in this brand. If you are a plus size person, keep looking- this bra will only disappoint you. It is pretty offensive to be selling an item, claiming not to just be plus size, but a larger plus size, when it could barely have fit me at my thinnest in middle school! I was able to get a refund, thankfully and now am back on my mission to find something that will work for my situation. Just listen to the reviews!

I normally wear a size 3x, sometimes a 2x from some brands. After reading the reviews, I ordered a size 6x. It just fits, barely. The back is very comfortable because there's no hook & the elastic fabric is pretty lightweight. The armholes are small. The sides go all the way up to my armpits, even in the size 6x!

Very comfortable and perfect fit, 3x .... It's so comfy

This is super comfortable and so far has held up in the wash (I machine wash in a lingerie bag and hang dry). I wear it at night and around the house. It doesn't have enough support for me to feel comfortable wearing it outside the house, but that is not the fault of this bra - at my size, no bra of this relaxed style can give that level of support, and I didn't buy it for that. My only problem is that the sizing seems off. In a normal bra, I wear about a 46H, which isn't even on the sizing chart for this bra. So I ordered a 4X, expecting that the band would be slightly loose but I might get some cup spillover. In fact the cups fit well, and the band is comfortable, but it is a little big, because sometimes at night everything escapes out the bottom and I wake up with the band hovering uselessly above. It's so comfy I'm keeping it, but I decided to try a 3X as well. I thought it might be a little tight, but I can't even put it on! The band is over 4 inches smaller, which seems like a huge jump for one size. In the photo you can see the gray 4X (which I've had about six weeks and washed 3-4 times so it shouldn't be stretched out yet) is almost 33" at the band, while the beige 3X is no more than 28".

ONE MONTH UPDATE: I love this bra so much that I bought another one in the same size. It is so comfortable and is my go-to bra. I'm updating this review because I am here to purchase another one of these bras. This purchase will be #3 for me! When I wear this bra, I feel like I'm braless. I don't feel itchy, I'm NOT having to tug at my bra and my breasts have a nice shape to them. The shoulder straps do NOT cut into me. The bra is easy to put on IF you order the correct size - I'm a 48D and am wearing a 4x in this bra. Amazon is recommending a 2x but they are wrong. Washing bras normally seems like a hassle, but these bras are easy to wash and dry quickly. I wish they had a lightly padded option, but the lack of padding hasn't stopped me from wearing them in public. *************** This bra looks tiny coming out of the bag. It looked so small I figured there would be a battle trying it on so I decided to wait until morning. I woke up and dreaded putting on this bra, but to my surprise, it had a lot of stretch and went on easily. The bra band curls up but the material is so soft the rolled fabric doesn't annoy me. I wear a 48D bra and ordered this bra in a 4x. While the bra fits and isn't too tight, I will be ordering another one in a 5x.

It fails to hold you up, and boobs droop. The bra needs something much stronger placed in the cups of the bra. The sides ride up

Very pleased with my purchase. It's not a great support bra, but then I really didn't think it would be for women needing a larger cup size. It arrived quicker than expected. I ordered another one, although it didn't give me huge support, it was comfortable to wear all day.

I consistently purchase this type of bra for its comfort and affordability. I appreciate the material that provides a snug fit and is ideal for extended wear at home. However, the bras gradually lose their elasticity and become unsuitable for activities such as cardio or running. Consequently, I replace them with new ones. For me, it’s perfect. Read carefully because some shipping fees are incredibly high.
