The unit does what it's supposed to, although I had to watch a couple of videos on YouTube about how to use similar items. This is because the instructions aren't very clear in some cases. Perhaps the biggest problem I had was when I first un-boxed it and started using it. No matter what lights I had plugged in, or what channels they were assigned to on the fixture themselves, the controller didn't appear to be doing anything. Then I tried flipping the polarity switch on the back next to the power cord and everything started to work as expected.I haven't messed with DMX programming since high school theater and this basically worked a lot like those controllers did. Not too hard for a beginner to learn on, and cheap enough that you won't spend an arm and a leg learning.

Got it to work after a lot of messing around the manual was not user friendly. Once I got going works great

The documentation for the unit isn't very good but I watched a few youtube videos and I was up and running in no time. Unit performed perfectly.

I ordered this item a total of 3 time. On the first delivery packaging was not damaged but the console was. There were buttons pushed into the console so they were rattling around and missing as well as buttons that were loose and not working. Item was returned and a second console was ordered. The second console came and was visually undamaged but one I connected it to the lights some of the channels didn't work so I was not able to get the full use of the console. I contacted the seller, who didn't reply for over a week. Meanwhile I returned the console and reordered a third and final time. The final console was received and was not visually damaged but again only 2 channels worked and couldn't get any solid lights from channels 2, 5, 6, 7 or 8. Don't waste your time. Evidently all the DMX 192 controllers are the same, and this one is no different. It really is designed to control multi channel fixtures and not single channel lights. And then it's really meant to run scenes and not on the fly changes. It can only control 8 channels live at any one time and there is no hold or cross fade.Changing scenes is kind of a pain as well when you are above 16 scenes. And finally for chases, the fade and chase time is NOT stored as a part of the chase. You control that manually.But it is cheap! And while the manual is a bit hard to read, it is correct.

Well, right now the Lixada 192 can do things smoothly that I can't seem to do.This controller is fun.! Well worth the money ..!!!

Was not compatible with my moving head lights....You get what you pay for i guess. User manual was extremely UN useful and many typos in the manual. Would not get for a starter controller
