W e get round this by putting the bread in sideways for a few minutes and keep an eye on it and then every bit of the slice is toasted. On another brand of bread there would be no problem. **Q: What are the dimensions of the toaster (not slice slots, actual toaster)? Thank you** A: It’s 270mm long x 160mm wide x 195mm high **Q: does anyone know how wide the slots are or if they are wide enough to take a sandwich cage** A: It’s just a standard toaster can take thick bread but nothing much larger. **Q: what material is used for the inside and outside of the kettle?** A: Plastic with a metal heating base ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great kettle *by S***N on 6 April 2026* Great kettle lid opens easily to fill, smart looking, quick boil, low noise ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quick and quiet boil. *by B***S on 20 May 2026* This is a lovely kettle the lid comes of to fill the kettle my previous ones the lid sprung up making a tighter space to fill with water.
