The box says, "100% premium cotton gloves" it does not say "100% cotton" and it does not list the elastic, so it doesn't say what it is made of. I find that elastic itchy. Very disappointed. **Q: How do these compare to gel gloves?** A: Nice because I can use my own lotion **Q: how many pair of gloves do you get ?** A: I was pleasantly surprised it has 7 pair. There is also a handy bag to use to launder them in the washing machine. **Q: Do the gloves suck up all the lotion? And could I wear it during the day, say, while reading books or driving?** A: You can wear them to read books or watching TV. They lotion does not seam to soak thru the gloves but that depends on how much lotion you apply.
