The EAAs taste good, like a tart lemonade. I like the flavor because it is sweetened with stevia, and also the lemonade flavor is good dilute or more concentrated (this makes it easy to get "more" of the drink by using less product). I also like how these are vegan (some BCAA/EAA sources are not.. enticing..). These are a little pricey but if you can spend the extra money, they are definitely worth it. (Full disclosure - I got these with a rebate. However, this rating/review expresses my true opinions, and I was not rewarded in exchange for giving a certain rating.)

VitaMonk Clean EAA's ingredients are high quality. Premium and clean. The BCAA portion is in the proper 2-1-1 ratio and the remaining EAAs are also of a good dose. (We wish they'd lose the beta carotene and sunflower lecithin.) Mixing for essential amino acids is not always easy. Here a scoop in 8 ounces of cold water shakes up very well. Tip: Add to water, shake and stick in the fridge. Shake again when ready and all is perfect. Right now there's only the lemonade taste. It is excellent. Right up there as the top EAA supplement we look forward to new berry flavors, etc. being added. Natural flavoring with no sugar. What sets VitaMonk apart is the value. The value makes it the best EAA supplement currently available. They are not price gouging. The fair price makes it affordable for more than once daily dosing for many.

Amino acids are quite bitter so many amino acid formulas taste awful and are unpalatable, but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this powder. It has a nice strong lemon flavor and I hardly taste the bitterness. I've wanted to use an amino acid powder but up to this point hadn't been able to find one that I could stomach the taste of it and take on a daily basis, but with this product, I don't mind taking it at all, so it's easy to incorporate it into my daily routine.

First I must mention that this company is one of the best supplement companies I’ve experienced. Their products are generally superior and value is spot on. However this is not the case for their EAAs. I am an amateur bodybuilder and fitness fanatic certified by NASM. First the product is overpriced by at least $10 for the ingredients in this product. Second, the ratio of each Amino product is not broken down so one doesn’t know the ratios of dosage. Third, to maintain proper EAA intake, one and half scoops is needed to reach the recommended serving size of 7-10 gram per scoop. The dosage in their product is 5gram per scoop which would be fine for BCAAs but not EAAs. The main plus to this product os no artificial coloring and flavored with Stevia but until the company changes the dosage per scoop I’ll have to look elsewhere for my EAAs.

Very very very pleased to know this doesn’t have yellow (lemon) food coloring. The last thing I want is yellow teeth from sipping on this awesome product. I’m so thankful for this company not putting dye / coloring in this product. I’ll be sure to keep buying. (It tastes great too! It’s refreshing and makes boring water a LOT more fun to drink.)

Taste is awful. I would rather there be no taste versus the manufacturer trying to make it taste "good." Would rather use the products that are "not clean" rather than trying to force this down. Do not buy the product unless you want to torture yourself. Change the ingredients, do something. I will not buy this again, no matter how you market the product as clean. Supposed to be lemon flavor. I don't see lemon on the ingredient list. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

These amino acids have a nice lemony taste, without the sickly oversweetness that some other brands use. I like how they're conscious of the type of sweetener added since I am as well and don't tolerate any weird ones like sucralose or aspartame etc. I typically prefer products like this with no sweeteners at all and it would be great if they had a product with that option. Stevia and monkfruit are two that I'll tolerate in a supplement but while these are natural they still have some physiological effects and can affect your gut microbiome. If you're mixing with juice or fruits like many do, then that's usually enough sweetening to give your mix a pleasant taste. One thing that I've never seen in a product but would like to see would be the amount of sweetener per serving. If one had a ton of stevia and one just had a tiny bit, I'd be more inclined to purchase the one with less. Also on the topic of labeling, this product should indicate the amount of each amino acid per serving like you see on most protein and amino acid supplements.

Arrived as promised with no issues. I use it in my protein shakes in the morning. Mixes well.
