Good book
For me, I loved the chemistry between the characters and it felt believable my only slight bug bear that made me cringe towards the end was the constant name she called him by. I felt it identified the fmc age gap and lack of maturity for me personally and I just felt after everything, you'd want to stop and use their name.

Omg I can't believe it finished the way it did. I can't wait to read the next book, just hoping it doesn't end like this one, or I'll be throwing my kindle thru the window

Great however there were a few things that might bother some people
I really liked the book, It was well thought out, etc. (I don’t mean any hate to the author whatsoever because I really liked the book and it’s a book I’d reread) However there were a few things that did kind of bother me, like the fact she kept on referring him as professor hunter rather than James, it seem just a little weird. It does end on a cliffhanger which I’m not a fan of cliffhangers because that then means I have to go out and buy a sequel. I have to say it’s good and I recommend, it reminds me a bit of PLL when Aria and Ezra got into a relationship. I would say this is more of a 18+ year old book as there’s a lot of inappropriate scenes but I feel like teens would enjoy it more as it’s like a fictional romance.SPOILER: Also they get into a relationship quite quickly without barely knowing each other and it happens soon on in the book which makes the middle part of the book a little boring.Putting all that aside, if you’re looking for a fictional romance that is about a teacher and student, I highly recommend :)

Good!!
This is the first in a series and is James and Penny’s story. These two meets in a coffee shop and there is an instant connection between them. Penny is a shy student who is a stickler for abiding to the rules, only to find that the dark and sexy alpha she connected with is her new professor. James gave up his billionaire lifestyle to become a professor, with only one rule, no fraternizing with the students. Will these two be able to keep away from each other? This is a well written story which is a student / teacher forbidden romance, with secrets, and intrigue, which leads to a steamy and addictive page tuner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

The Most Irritating Heronie Ever?
I've done it. I've found the most irritating heroine ever.Penny is an airhead bimbo with the emotional intelligence of a tennis racket. Flipping between two guys, whilst apparently in love with one of them is laughable at best. One cannot help but ask - how did this empty-headed twit get into university in the first place?I know stories beg the reader for suspension of disbelief, but this is a stretch too far.Who in the real world refers to their paramour by their title and surname? It reminds me of that episode of Friends were Phoebe's brother introduces his fiancée to her. The fiancée is his former teacher and he refers to her by her title and surname at first - because it's bizarre and hilarious. It has no grounding in real life. Constantly referring to her lover as "Professor Hunter" despite being in a relationship with him, unlike that Friends episode, isn't funny. Nor relatable. Nor understandable. It's like the few synapses in her brain that do work can't compute the change in relationship like pretty much everyone else would. It isn't sexy, it's weird.... and that is off the top of my head. The room mate isn't cute, they are invasive to the point of bullying and two dimensional. Don't get me started on her.The positive is, the writer has managed to carve out more of an interesting character out of James. He seems interesting. He could carry the book, but instead we have to suffer the ab-obsessed, self centred wafflings of this childish teeny bopper, who has the maturity of a childs birthday bouncy castle. She overreacts non-stop and its exhausting. Every time an adult, grown up relationship element comes up, she throws a massive tantrum and storms off all the time. What James sees in her, other than her body, I cannot begin to understand. If we had a compelling heroine, then this book would be great, fun escapism. But sadly, we don't and it's a real shame because the writer has given the story a decent bone structure.I get that this is a series, so personal stories are meant to be told over a few books, but this deeply flawed, immature lead is too profoundly unlikeable. I cannot bear the thought of spending any more time with this girl and I'm puzzled as to why this 'hot professor' wants to.I hate writing these types of reviews and my hopes were high for this book. This is just my opinion - yours is likely to differ from mine. I would say give it a read yourself, you might like what I loathed. I'm sure there are books out there I adore but others too would loath. It's up to you.
