Amazing All-Natural Supplement for Anxiety/Depression
This supplement has allowed me to completely manage my anxiety and depression, without the use of pharmaceutical drugs! I have battled anxiety and depression for nearly my whole life. I have always tried to manage it with therapy and natural supplements. However, I have had to resort to prescription drugs for a couple years. I absolutely HATE the side effects. I hated knowing I was putting those chemicals into my body every day. However, I wasn't functioning well without them. I started researching (like I tend to do with anything and everything!). I decided to try Ashwagandha, based on all I had read about various herbs and vitamin supplements. I had stopped my prescription drugs a year before, and had been using an herbal anxiety supplement from a home-based sales company. It worked for months; however it wasn't working for me anymore. So I ordered Ashwagandha from a different company. And it was certainly helping! I was very thankful!! Once I finished that bottle I decided to research a little more before ordering another. I came across this brand. I like that it has black pepper in it as well; to promote absorption. I also like that this is a once per day supplement (the other was 2x per day & hard for me to remember). This brand is now my favorite! I'm doing better than I have in a long time! I am so thankful to be able to manage my anxiety and depression with an all natural supplement & not have to resort back to chemicals!! I will continue to buy! (And no, I did not receive any discounts for my review. I paid full price & will happily do so again!) 😊😊 Update 9/29/17: I had to stop taking this supplement a few months ago. I started having these spells where my BP would shoot up suddenly, and I would feel light headed and like I had spiked a fever. I started checking both every time it came over me, and sure enough, my temperature would be elevated and my BP was higher than it had ever been. It took a couple weeks, but I narrowed it down to my ashwagandha supplement. Once I stopped taking it, everything went back to normal within a couple days. I waited a month. I took it again, and within hours I had the exact same symptoms return. I am assuming that I have an allergy to the supplement. I have had issues with supplements containing ginseng in the past. I have NO IDEA if that has anything to do with this, or not. But unfortunately I will not be taking any ashwagandha supplement in the future. 😕

Effective and High-Quality Ashwagandha Supplement
I've been incorporating ashwagandha into my daily routine for stress management and overall well-being. This particular supplement stands out due to its use of KSM-66, a well-researched form of ashwagandha root extract standardized to 5% withanolides. The addition of BioPerine enhances absorption, making the supplement more effective. Key Observations: Stress Reduction: After consistent use, I've noticed a significant decrease in daily stress levels. Improved Sleep Quality: My sleep has become more restful, and I wake up feeling refreshed. Enhanced Focus: There's a noticeable improvement in my concentration during work hours. amazon.com Physical Performance: My endurance during workouts has improved, and muscle recovery feels quicker. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I haven't experienced any adverse effects. I appreciate that the product is made from certified organic ashwagandha root and is free from unnecessary fillers or additives. Conclusion: This supplement delivers on its promises, offering a natural way to manage stress and enhance overall health. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable and effective ashwagandha supplement.

Helped with Low Thyroid and Controlling High Cortisol
Seems to work quite well. I started using this to help boost my sagging Thyroid. My TSH was nearly 6 when I started using this. And last reading was 3.55 (which these days is still considered TOO HIGH). This herb works in a couple of ways, primarily to moderate over-active production of Cortisol. Previously I'd used Valerian and several other herbs...which worked. But this worked better. And then combined with Rhodiola Rosea, the combination did an even better job. Holy Basil also can help. But a big key with Hypothyroid is to be ABLE to absorb the key vitamins and minerals (B12, D3, E, K, Calcium Iron, Magnesium, Selenium, and Zinc. Which is hard with a reduced Thyroid output, as this knocks down stomach acid production. And those vitamins and minerals need NORMAL stomach acid levels to be absorbed. Currently I'm using HCL to help with that. But also many of these minerals counteract the absorbability of each others. Iron needs be taken at least 2-3 hours away from Zinc or Magnesium or Calcium. And Zinc will conflict with Iron to Magnesium (and maybe Calcium). The D3, E, and K need to be taken with some fat (as they fat soluble). And yes, it's ok to take 100IU of REAL vitamin E (meaning Mixed Tocopherols and not just the synthetic di-Alpha...which is not really Vitamin E). I've had Tachycardia since I was 12 (or earlier), and started getting severe PACs/PVCs in 2011. Both are related to elevated Cortisol levels, though the PACs/PVCs are also the result of HOT SPOTS on the Left Atria and Left Ventricle caused by Electrolyte Imbalance...with Adrenaline being a trigger (due to elevated Cortisol). As such, I take about 600-800mg of Magnesium Malate and about 1000mg of Potassium Glutamate...which really helps reduce the PACs/PVCs. But this product (along with Rhodiola Rosea) greatly reduce the triggering mechanism (Cortisol spikes that increase Adrenaline output). I've tested Positive for the TPO antibodies, but at present they are fairly low. I'm hoping this product will help reduce that even lower. I've ordered both a digital and mercury basal thermometer to help monitor my Thyroid (via body temp). The idea is that this (time honored method) mirrors the Thyroid output. Too low, and the Thyroid is low. Too high, and the Thyroid is high. But one more point. Long term elevated Cortisol does a couple a things that are really bad. First off, it ramps up the Fight or Flight mode, which assumes you're just about to run from a large bear (and thus need your system running at full speed)...which if you're running from a bear is good. But this puts a number of systems on the back burner (which is only ok short term), such as your Thyroid and your Immune System. With the Thyroid it does this by blocking T4 to T3 conversion and creates what's called Reverse T3 (which blocks the T3 receptors, negating the effectiveness of any T3 in your blood). T3 is THE active form of the Thyroid hormone. Long term, this is quite bad. It does this, because the T3 could act against the Fight or Flight activities. But Fight or Flight mode also shuts down Bone Repair, tissue repair, and digestion (by blocking acid production), and many other things you need for a normal life (while not running from a bear). And if the Cortisol levels don't quickly return to normal (one you get away from that bear), then your system is running HOT for longer periods of time, which is detrimental longer term. All sorts of problems stem from Low Thyroid. Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), elevated LDL Cholesterol, elevated blood pressure, both Type-2 and Type-1 Diabetes, and depressed Immune System response. I've not yet been tested for Cortisol, and would have to be off a product like this for at least a week to take a 24-hour spit test for Adrenal function. And I do plan to do that soon. But had I known how easy it is to order this test (and most other tests your doctor can order) myself, I would have done it before. BTW. Your body treats stress the same if you're running from a bear. So high stress levels will also ramp up Cortisol (and all that comes with that). In any case, this appears to be a good version of this herb...and I will reorder soon.
