KontrolFreek Performance Grips for Xbox One and Xbox Series X Controller (Inferno Red)

I bought this product for one reason and that was to combat sweaty hands during my gaming. Now it does that very well for me and feels pretty comfortable too. The padding is definitely sturdy and feels good when gripping the controller during any situation in the game. No more pausing to wipe my controller or hands to feel comfortable again. I did not know how thick the padding was so I chose the standard version. I may have to try the other two sizes later on if the durability stays good for a long time. I actually had a tiny bit of trouble getting it lined up on my controller but seeing as how it allows you to reposition it whenever and I've worked with this type of material before, I had no worries re applying till I got it just right. I've used my controller several times now and they have no weird bubbles or bumps and stayed stuck right where I placed them. I honestly wouldn't mind if they have more material to reach the entire sides and undersides of the controller. I'd prefer that if I could have bought it and it would have been nice to have more color selection to match my stick extender tops. Regardless great product and priced right.Edit - Now onto my second pair I got the extra padded pair and it feels even better. Nice to know the first pair came off my controller with relative ease and left a little residue but easily cleaned off. Also the first pair are still completely usable still and plenty sticky. Just stored them using the disposable backing from the second pair I got.

Easy to apply, adds the extra grip I was hoping for. I'm very pleased.

I needed some extra padding for my elite controller and this was the only product that seemed to fit what I was looking for. It wraps around a normal controller without back paddles. So I took some scissors and cut around the paddles so I could use my back paddles without obstruction. Definitely time consuming to apply them. Takes multiple tries. But all in all. It works for added padding and grip. The only reason I took one star away was because you can definitely feel where the grips stop in your palm and it’s definitely noticeable when gaming.

I play Xbox quite a bit and this grip is awesome. Very comfortable and easy to get used to. Moisture control is also great in case you get sweaty hands at times.The only precaution I would give is to be very careful when applying the grips. I did the first one perfectly but the second one was a little off-center and is already starting to peel off because it was hanging over the edge and not completely flush. I wish I could just get a replacement for one side, but I will probably have to buy another pack soon because of my own mistake.

The media could not be loaded. FWI these work with powerA controllers that have paddles but you need to tweak them with a knife. I have the PowerA spectra Infinity but this method will work with the fusion or the enhanced controllers as well. What I did was cut the paddle button part out with a really sharp knife or pocket knife or even a razor. Please look at my pics and video for reference. One important thing to note is to know where you will be cutting before pushing on the back side of the grip since you won’t be able to feel or see the button under it. What I did was before pushing firmly on the back side I marked a visible line with the knife then I pushed the whole back side of the grip for it to stick permanently. After making sure it’s stuck in place I then cut the marked square or circle for the paddle with the knife and I was pressing really hard on the knife so it punctures all the way and I continued to do this for the whole marked spot or square for the paddle or in my case button.

Battles with bugs & automatons have been getting intense in Helldivers and sweaty palms seem to have become the norm.I bought these to improve my grip on the controller - the installation is a little tricky as no aids are provided for correct alignment so you need to take it slow and easy and try a few different positions before taking the adhesive wrap off and committing to an install.The grip offered is good and I no longer have any issues holding on to the controller as I hold on to dear life in heated game battles.Playing with sweaty hands definitely has left a funky smell on the grip after a few weeks of daily game sessions. Like smelly socks / feet. I've been wiping the controller with Clorox wipes every few days to try and keep things germ free but the smell seems to come back.I haven't tried removing the grips yet so the jury is out on whether the adhesive comes off cleanly or not.Overall, serves the purpose of getting a better grip on the controller but needs some better strategies for odor control from sweaty hands.

I love Kontrolfreak and have used many of their products for years. I was so excited for these and have wanted to try them for quite some time. So when I got my new Xbox and fresh controller I ordered right off the bat. Man these things are a bummer and a half. Even on a brand new unused controller and still adhering to the directions to properly clean and prepare the controller for effective placement and adhesion and being so careful to place them just exactly as to avoid having to peel up and adjust placement even once after the first stick, not touching the sticky side with my fingers etc. the edges of grips on both right and left sides darn near all the way around just refuse to stick and stay down. They continue to lift and the more they do the less they stick back down as they have now been exposed to dust and whatever else from being kitten while not in use. Gonna just have to take them off because now they are causing some sticky residue to transfer onto my hand which is about the last thing you want on or around your controller. Could have just been a one off package of these grips but unfortunately I had been so confident in kontrolfreaks products that I tossed the packaging when I first applied the grips and cannot even return them. Ugh just bummed
