Very slippery and ypu don’t need that much to work on it .. love it will buy it again

This is a great lubricant for me- I love that it's very easy to clean up and friendly to silicone surfaces. It doesn't have any sort of chemical or plasticy smell. It provides excellent lubrication and it's easy to dispense. It dispenses a perfect amount. It lasts as long as I need it to be and enhances my experience very much. I love that it's easy to wipe up. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized, but not oily or greasy, or sticky. To me, it feels thicker & slicker than K-Y, lasts longer, and has a much quicker, easier cleanup.

TOO slippery????Hmmm....I don't know how to "dance around" this question and this review.This is a very slippery lube.We have many lubes of various types; water based, silicone, hybrid water/silicone, warming....you get the gist; many...This feels good on the skin but I did detect a slight warming effect; maybe it's just me; this is NOT sold as, or presented as a warming lube.For me, maybe you too, there's a bit of a funny...emm.. balance, let's call it, that I'm needing from a lube.You need lube, but you also need some drag or friction (again, maybe it's just me) for a satisfying outcome.That's where, for me, this was too slippery.Don't know quite how to say this, but at the same time that this was too slippery for me, other lubes "relax" Misses Shops too much, for ease of entry. She was not relaxed and there was no "ease" of entry.Every day, every interaction is different, and so maybe this was one of those "off" days.....This is a gold color; I'm not sure why that's important, but the manufacturer seems to think it might convey a "because I'm worth it" kind of vibe.Schmaltz to me, but maybe to you, it will be a little extra to enjoy.I would call this long lasting and, not to gross you out, but can easily be renewed with a bit of saliva.For the price, with all due respect, I think I'll stick with the silicone version of that brand that has the word "Navy" in it.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Not our favorite lube.....I like the idea of a hint of gold in the coloring.But the lube itself is not the best. It's a silicone-based lube. All of the silicone-based lubes that we have tried have been overly stick and viscous. It's almost off-putting. This gold lube is no exception.Our favorite so far is a water-based lubricant called Lola Personal Lubricant, also available here on Amazon--it's a bit pricey, but worth it.I'm not sure who would benefit from this Liquid Gold lube.....possibly it could be a good way to ward off PE???

The product description on Amazon refers to this as being a hybrid lubricant with silicone bases... I am not sure what that means, but I expected it to a little more closely resemble a silicone lubricant. It still got sticky / tacky as it dried out like a regular water based lube. It might be slightly more viscous than some others. This lube does have a slightly golden color, but translucent color. Once it is on skin though, you really can't tell.

Most lubes tend to get sticky after a while, requiring more lube, or often times a better solution: water. I’m happy to say that this one lasted a long time, and no point did it get sticky. I didn’t feel any irritation, but then again, I don’t usually get irritation with lubes, so I’m not really the canary in the coal mine to speak to that.

I was drawn to this lube because its product listing described it as a water/silicone hybrid. However, upon receiving the bottle, its label told a different story: water-based formula, without any silicone (a.k.a. dimethicone) listed among the ingredients. That's a pity, as I had hoped for something that offered the best of both worlds, and that's not quite the case here.Liquid Gold does offer a consistency slightly thicker and more viscous than most water-based lubes, but it doesn't match the silky-feel or longevity a silicone product. The initial glide is good, but reapplication becomes necessary during longer sessions. The pump-top does a good job of dispensing without making a mess, and the lube rinses off with water for easy cleanup.Overall, this is a decent lube, but it doesn't particularly stand out. I've used other water-based lubes that lasted longer, and this one's small 4.25oz bottle makes it a questionable value.
