A: you can use a vise for the bolt catch and the trigger guard

**Q: What is the size of the gap?**
A: Never measured the gap but it's sized for the intended use of a tool to install the roll pin in the trigger guard of an ar15 receiver. Works perfectly as designed.

**Q: Can be used to remove pin of the extractor in upper slide frame of a pistol?**
A: I doubt it. That's not it's intended use. You could buy one and find out.

**Q: Can this be used on hangun trigger guard roll pins as well, such as a Sig P238/938?**
A: The spacing and pin sizes are made for an AR-15 lower trigger guard - if the spacing is the same and the pin size is the same, then yes, but I would be surprised if that was the case...
