Bought this wrap for my senior gelding. Super easy to use, he rolled a bunch of times with it on (he doesn’t like wraps, boots, etc) it slid down, but stayed on. Held the cold temperature for quite some time. Well almost a hour. The only thing I do wish, it was slightly wider so it could go up the leg more to cover the knee completely. Hints why the one picture it looks odd. I did just order another one so he can have one on each of his fronts at the same time. He was able to walk and roll with it on, do what he wanted to do. He wasn’t able to rip it off (he’s known to pull off others fly masks, blankets, fly boots). Definitely worth the money. I also like the carrying case it comes in, and how easy I can put it in the freezer but yet have it moveable to fit onto the leg.

My horse has a tear in the Origin of the superficial flexor behind the knee. I have been dealing with this for a couple months. Lots of cold hosing and sweat wraps / five minute walks. Cold hosing became a dreaded thing for both of us. I bought this magic ice boot and it’s convenient and effective. I can see a difference after icing. Since my mare is being limited I just apply her ice boot , groom her and work with my other mare. Not sure how long it actually lasts though because by the time I take it off (couple hours) it’s been defrosted. I will say it stays on well! I did my 5 minute walk (some trotting) and it did not move. I like the carry case because I can stick the boot back in it and stick it back in the deep freezer. No complaints from me or my mare. It works as advertised. Fits very well and it is super adjustable. My mare is a solid paint and wears 12” standing wraps on the front. This is longer and I like that because it covers the knee. Hope this helps someone. Seems to be helping my horse.

Impressed with the quality. I wet the leg before applying and it worked much better, and it was secure enough I felt comfortable to let my horse graze with it on and not have to stand around. I purchased them to help heal a kick injury but I might get another pair for recovery after hard work. Wouldn't think twice about trailering home in them either for a short distance from a schooling round.

We own a hard working, hard stopping, reining cow horse with A LOT of heart. Her joints are clean (xrays at the vet) but over the last couple years, after a hard day cutting cows, reining and "down the fence," she retains some fluid in one of her rear pasterns. She has never been "off or lame" but the fluid really concerned us. We tried excercise, running cold water over it, "sweating" it, clay, wraps, anti inflammatories and other remedies. Everything took the fluid down but none took it away. We looked at other ice boots...but WOW the cost was prohibitive and hauling all that stuff down the road to rodeo/shows was just crazy. FINALLY, found this product and figured it was worth a try. IT WORKS! When she stocks up, mild exercise, apply the frozen wrap for 20 minutes and the fluid is GONE. We have kept her on 1/2 tab of Previcox (prescribed by our vet) for the next two weeks just for good measure. FITS GREAT, easy for me to put on just secure from the bottom up....conforms to leg fairly well (velcro and elastic keeps in place) and doesn't slip down. This is a great product for a great PRICE. WORTH A TRY. Comes with a cover so we just put the boot in the cover inside the freezer in the living quarters. I have only surfaced cleaned so gave it a "4" for easy to clean because I actually don't know the answer to that yet. It looks like you could wash it in a bucket and hang to dry without any issues.

Worked great for my mare. I’ve been wanting to buy an ice boot for my horse for the last couple of years and now that she’s gotten a tendon strain (from riding), I’ve really seen icing her leg helping. This one was economical and serves its function. I’d also like to mention for those who are skeptical on spending ~$30 for one boot, I tried the otterpop stuffed in her fly boot method before I ordered this and found that the otter pops were fine for cooling her leg, but there would be “warm spots” in her leg after 15 minutes from the ice melting faster in certain areas of the otterpop. I like to ice my horse’s leg for about 20-25 minutes and cycle that twice (once before I ride and one after). With one of these ice boots, I can do that, whereas with the otterpop method, you’d have to wait for the popsicles to ice back up again (which takes about 3 hours). Totally worth the money to buy one of these!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these boots. You really can’t beat them for the price. I will say there is a steep learning curve to putting them on and it feels like a genuine IQ test at times, but once you get the hang of them they’re pretty easy. For size reference, my mare is 15h with more refined legs. We get 1 full wrap around with a tiny bit of overlap, so if your horse has thicker legs these would probably fit more like open fronts. That being said, I have used them on a friend’s Friesian cross and we got them all the way around, just no overlap. Pros: ✔️ They stay cold for at least 20-30 mins ✔️ They stay put if the horse moves ✔️ Nice colors (navy/pink, definitely not purple like the description pic) ✔️ Come with little carry bag which saves space in the freezer! (I easily fit both in 1 bag)

Die sind einfach meine Lebensretter. Mein Pony hat eine starke Hufrehe, ich habe die Dinger jetzt wirklich täglich im Gebrauch. Jeden Tag im Gefrier, die Temperatur ist wirklich bombastisch, nämlich nicht zu kalt (Verbrennungen). Das Pony bewegt sich natürlich auch, absolut kein verrutschen. Sie halten sogar bis zu 3 Stunden kühl. Einfach eine Erleichterung. Einziger Nachteil, wenn man sie nicht sofort, nach beenden der Kühlung, abnimmt. Wirken sie wie ein Speicher für Wärme. Was denn natürlich wieder nicht so gut ist. Aber es dauert nicht lange bis man sich da eingefuchst hat. Es sind bisher weder Nähte auf, noch ist irgendwas undicht, selbst das Klett klebt noch wie am Anfang. Über Preis Leistung brauchen wir nicht reden, ich glaube nichts derartiges würde billiger werden. Es sei denn, man hat einen Bach in der Nähe und steht dann 3 Stunden mit drinnen. 😉

This i e boot is working great! The 4 straps make it versatile so it can be used on multiple places on the leg (low, high etc). Velcro is strong but so far not getting clogged up. Stays cold for a full application and can sometimes squeeze a 2nd out of it, depending on the temperature. I keep a cooler in my truck and teansport it in the cooler. I can run errands then ice my horse, no problem. The bag is convenient and helps keep it cold as it’s folded in two, and also keeps the velcro in good shape. I will probably get another one so I can ice 2 legs at once. Five stars, highly recommended
