This is a bitterly disappointing purchase. The product I received is well under sized. The item is listed as A4 Cover Folder.Nothing A4 fits into the wrapper. Indeed it is not possible to put a plain piece of A4 paper into either of side pouches. This fact has been noted before by other customers. You would think that the importers would read comments and act accordingly. If the A4 folder was made just a touch bigger all would be well and I would be very happy. The quality is as you would expect.PLEASE do take this as a warning and avoid the disappointment of a buying a product which is not fit for purpose intended.

I was looking for a special unique passing out gift for my son. He enjoys drawing in his down time, so I decided to get him sketching materials and a file to keep it in. After reading many mixed reviews I decided to take a chance and go with this A4 leather file. It is absolutely gorgeous, it holds an A4 sketch pad easily along with tins of pencils. I read alot of complaints about "a weird smell", what smell? Leather?? If you don't like the smell of leather then don't buy it, so simple. I am so glad I went with this product, I had it engraved and the engraver even complemented what a beautiful piece this was and how it would last for years to come. My son was delighted.

The quality is abysmal, and don't get me started on the smell.I buy most of my leather goods from Aspinal of London, Pickett, and Jean Rousseau. I adour all things natural no matter the price. I needed something particularly rugged and hardy. This product is poorly made, the structure uneven, the leather's patterned appearance unappealing. It looks as though the animal they took this skin from was tortured. The smell happens to be the worsed aspect of this product. It smells a mixture of manure, dead animal, and rotting skin. Simply awful.I would have been better off buying faux leather than this. Absolutely terrible.

Lovely well made book cover. The 'antique' look of the leather is much more characterful than 'new' looking leather. Used to cover my sketchbooks, whilst in use, and hide the plain cardboard cover. My book cover dimensions are 215mm x 305mm and the jacket fits very well, with a little room to spare, and will fit A4 paper with ease. Easy to get the book in and out of the jacket as needed.

Purchased to use over A4 notebooks for work (I'm a salesman). I returned it because it was too big for A4 documents / refill pads etc and not rigid enough. It also appeared orange rather than ‘tan/brown’. In summary I felt it didn’t look professional enough for me to use in front of clients. I didn’t notice a smell but it did leave ‘grease’ marks on a notebook I tried it with. Delivery and returns was no issue and I’d buy from the company again. I purchased a leather notebook cover from Amazon / Torro which I felt like was better value for money and more what I was looking for.

I bought this to hold my A4 day/notebook inside.The whole thing is well made and has a lovely artisan/rustic feel to it, as if it was created entirely by hand and crafted from start to finish. The tiny imperfections in the material, and lovely stitched finish, it is tough and feels of a good weight. I was well impressed with it and it honestly looks like something that could have been twice the price. The smell is also amazing if you are into that kind of thing.Will certainly be buying other leather goods from this company in future. Would fully recommend. Feels instantly better and more attractive than anything you might be able to buy on the high street.

This is really a soft leather wallet/folder. It is definitely bigger than A4. My one had a strong leather smell and this might not be to everybody’s liking . I got rid of this by storing it in a plastic bag with copious amounts of bicarbonate of soda powder, over 36 hours. It stores papers etc in side pockets. An iPad would easily fit in to one of these but there would be nothing else to secure it. Nice feel to it and I’m happy.

After reading some bad reviews after ordering this item I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I have no problem with the leather smell- which I treated with a cream (I used to work for a high end luxury leather goods company and can confirm it is of good standard)It is larger than a standard A4 size so fits A4 paper and books comfortably.I am very pleased with the product as I wanted a cover that was durable yet rustic and beautiful for my notes, plays and papers- for when I go to study my MA in October.I am very pleased with the item and it came to me as advertised in the photographs.
