EDI Disposable Vinyl Gloves (Clear) - Powder-Free, Latex-Free

I was an EMT for 7 years, am a car buff, and do a lot of cleaning and projects around the house... so I've worn more than my fair share of disposable gloves. These are hands-down the worst I've ever bought or worn.In 7 years of EMS I never remember tearing a glove while putting it on, so I should've known what I was in for when I tore the cuff off the first one of these putting it on. I wore it for a few minutes of cleaning my car and had to take it off. I did my usual pull off the glove, shake my hand in the air for about 10 seconds to dry it, and pull on another glove. These are near *impossible* to put on without tearing unless your hand is absolutely, perfectly dry. After wasting about four, I managed to get another on.Cleaning stuff around the house, or cleaning my guns? even double-gloved, the finger tips rip open in a matter of minutes.Waxing my car, which isn't even that demanding a task for gloves? Even double-gloved, the finger tips abrade open.Weeding in the garden, double gloved? I get about 20-30 weed pulls until both gloves have torn through.Completely useless.

I have a rash on my hands from some type of weed that I pulled. It has been going on for 2 1/2 years so far and, after seeing a couple of dermatologists several times, nothing helps (cortisone creams actually activate and make it much worse!) except to keep non- latex gloves on my hands and cut the fingers off. However, since the COVID pandemic, I have been unable to get the good ones I had been using and have tried several others including these. These absolutely did not work for me. If I keep them on for more than a day, they get kind of hard and brittle and tear. They do not stay soft like the gloves that doctors have. They are also too large in the wrists - they flare out and get in the way. I tried taping them in, but that doesn't last long and is awkward to do with one hand. I also tried using a rubber band, but couldn't find the right size to be tight enough but not too tight. I could have made a velcro wrist band, but the gloves weren't good enough to go to that trouble. I suppose if you only use them for something like coloring your hair, they would be ok, but even then, I think the flared out wrists would be a problem. I bought them because they were sized instead of "one size fits all" (NOT!), and they were white. I didn't want to wear blue gloves on my hands all the time. I really did not like them at all. I should have sent them back, but life got too hectic and I didn't have the time.

I wasn't sure why this order of vinyl gloves was so much smaller than my previous order. After looking at my order I see the company sent me Small instead of Medium. They fit my grandchildren under age 8!!! And they sure as hell don't fit me. So not happy...and too late to get a refund. I kept trying to figure out why I couldn't get them over my fingers without splitting into pieces. Well, now I know why. I'm getting more and more disillusioned with Amazon orders. You have to be really careful of your purchases. It's ridiculous!

I use the gloves in the kitchen when I am preparing something or washing poultry or fish. The gloves are solid and durable.I just finished washing the dishes when my phone rang. I put the gloves in my jean back pocket. The next day, I put my jean in the washing machine using regular detergent and hot water. When I pull the jean out to hang I found the gloves in my back pocket intact, no holes and the gloves didn’t shrink.

The gloves are what I wanted to prepare food for the family while I'm battling cedar fever. I ordered medium gloves when I couldn't decide if I should order med or large. I'm glad I ordered the medium size because they are not difficult to get on my hand and they fit perfectly. I will be ordering more.
