Take the amount of the package and the mix amount and calculate the small portion size. EX: I have a 6lb bag which is 96 oz. It makes 8 quarts. 96 oz/8 qts = 12 oz/qt = approx 24 tablespoons or 1 1/2 cups. Adjust flavor from there. I use milk instead of water for a creamier taste. Also, if you put fruit in the blender, add an approx. amount of frostline and milk it makes a great ice cream - strawberries and blueberries are wonderful and sugars are not needed with this mix. Coffee creamers and drink mixers also add a nice flavor. I suggest crushing oreos in a bag to add just before serving. Good luck, just calculate down to the amount you will need and adjust for flavor. **Q: Can the powdered mix be put right into a blender with liquids and other add-ins and ice and made into a smoothie?** A: I don't see why not. My kids were so very excited to make ice cream together. We all loved the color of it and just knew it was going to be delicious. I opened the bag it was delivered in and poured it into a large bowl. I followed directions for the ingredients. Then I had to stir with a large spoon about 500x and by hand bc it said not to use a mixer. So my older kids and I took turns. Once it was finally done we all took a bite and all 5 of my children plus myself ran to spit it out. It was repulsive. This ice cream was disgusting so disgusting that nothing or no ingredients could be added to even make it taste better. It was a huge mistake ordering it. The texture was thick. The quality was a great price for the huge size. It wasn’t easy to use bc it consisted of a lot of work to even get to the ice cream part of it. I wanted to save money and try something different and thought this would be a great way to improvise. This was a huge disappointment. I did end up running down to the store to buy my kids and I ice cream to make them happy, although they were so excited about making this ice cream and it was a huge let down in the end.
