Has anyone used this successfully with different tape, like Command strips?

I haven’t used it on these hooks ,but I’ve used 3M 15 lb. Transparent Tape with similar towel racks. Command strips should work too.

If these need to be removed for whatever reason do they damage the tile and come off with a little elbow power?

I haven’t had to remove anything yet using the 3M tape. Usually on tile a little heat from a hair dryer and fishing line loosens and softens the tape for removal.

If you need to remove the product, you can use a hair dryer to heat the base, then you can easily remove it without damaging the tile.

How can I remove the sticky residue from glass? I had to move one. Used hair dryer to remove hook but glass has thick residue I can't scrape off

Spray residue with WD-40 then use a soft cloth in a circular motion over the area to lift up the stickiness. If this leaves a smear, use Dawn to remove the WD-40 grease.

Simple and Beautiful

Installed, these do not look like stick-ons. They match our fixtures and have a quality look and feel. After some use they have shouldered the weight of wet towels and other items as if screwed in. I cleaned the installation areas with alcohol - twice - and let them set up for twenty four hours. When installing I noticed that the adhesive grabbed instantly so insure you have them level. I would not chance sticking them on painted sheet rock. On glazed tile they should be great with damageless removable if that ever comes about.
