This delightful Dalmatian pull toy has the charm and durability of an old-fashioned wooden toy plus striking contemporary styling that will appeal to little and big dog lovers everywhere. Carved out of a flat piece of wood, the toy flexes at 2 points in the middle and at the tail's base for easy maneuverability. Little ones will have fun pulling Spotty around by his red collar and leash while rubber wheels will protect the floors. Imported.

Spot on
Every two year old to whom I have given this as a bday gift has LOVED it. It has remained in the families as a classic toy to be passed down to the next siblings in line. Yes, it takes a bit of coordination for new walkers or impatient little ones to keep Spotty from tipping over. But he is big enough to feel like a real dog and the toddlers love the leash and that clever swag and wag as he rolls along. Highly recommend!!!!

A member of the family
After researching this product I purchased it for my grandson when he was about 20 months old. He just loves his "SPOT" and takes care of him as if he were a real dog. (He has 2 of his own) The dog stays with Nanna and PopPop when he goes back home to Mommy and Daddy. He is now 3 and still walks his SPOT and trys to train him. Other than the wheel screws coming loose every once in awhile it is a fabulous toy and I am sure he will be playing with it for many more years.

A lovely little doggy
My sons got this cute doggie from their grandma when my older son was almost 3 and my younger son was almost 1. It's not the most played with toy in the house, but it is played with consistently. My younger son (now almost 2) loves to take Waggy, as they named him, for walks around the house. My older son (now almost 4) likes to clip the leash on and off the collar, and practice being a vet on Waggy. About six months ago, my older son was very into 101 Dalmations, and Waggy was a big favorite, and temporarily re-named Pongo.I love wooden toys, and this is no exception. This toy has weathered perfectly, still looking like the day they got it even though it's been doctored, and dragged down the stairs :0)

Wonderful toddler toy!
This is an absolutely wonderful toy! We gave it to our son for his second birthday and he immediately fell in love with it. He gave it a name and loves to pull him around, check on him, and play with him just like his real dog. He is so enamored with this toy that during his prayers at night we have to be sure to bless it. The other review about the dog falling over a lot surprised me because you have to work really hard at making our dog fall over. Even during some high speed tight toddler turns around corners the dog has just wagged his tail right along behind my son. I would recommend this toy to anyone. It is very well made, has no unsafe tiny or sharp parts (I have a one year old as well and it is perfectly safe for him, too,), the wood gives it a handmade charm, and my kids just love it. It's a nice relief from the buzzing, dinging, singing, talking toys.

Great toy, simple fun
This was given to my 20 month old daughter as a gift and she has just fallen in love with this cheerful lil pup. She pulls him our everywhere, and he is able to stand up to some rough and tough love. My husbands FAVORITE toy, as there is no crazy noises or overstimulation happening... And no potty training another puppy!! A great toy for a toddler.

Great Gift
We received it as a gift and our 15 month old runs all over the house with it. It takes a beating and stays standing while it's yanked around the living room. We have not had any problems with the screws on the wheels or the leash. Initially we let him play with it without the leash b/c he would get tangled in it, but now that he can run easily it's just fine.

Cute BUT can't be pulled!!!
This Dog is so cute. I bought it for my 2 year old and 4 year old daughters. Yes, his tail does wag; however, Spotty falls over whenever making any type of turn. My daughters love this toy and want to pull it through the house, but become very frustrated when he falls over. It seems as if his front paws and back paws are very flexible, allowing him to fall over too easily. I am very disappointed in this toy. When I was purchasing it, I read all of the hype about toy awards and thought Spotty would be great. He's not!!!!
