I replaced the engine in my 1990 Ford Bronco in Late 2024. During the install, I needed to replace the worn our heat insulation that covers and protects the AC condenser from the heat of the engine. The old material was similar to that of this product. I purchased this material and was able to cut and stick this product perfectly where it was needed in the engine compartment. It was easy to work with and the adhesive is super strong. It should last for many years! Great product!

Used this to reduce heat and noise from our dryer. It works as expected! For the price, I think it's worth it. Very good noise reduction.

I used this to replace the sound deadening foam in an older outboard motor. It is definitely quieter than the factory foam. The packing was less than ideal, though. It was folded and crushed into a box. This stretched and deformed sections of the pad. I was able to work around it due to the size of the cowl, but if I were working on something larger, it would have been a problem. The self adhesive is good, but I used contact cement anyway, and that made this padding basically unremovable. In summary - the material is quite good, the seller - not so much. They'll need to step up their shipping game.

The material is fine. The issues are caused by packaging. Unike the image which shows a roll, my package was folded twice in both directions causing severe rippling. I streched it out flat with tension for over a week but adhesion was still not good. I ended up installing it with limited bonding

Needed a replacement for shoddy pad when putty a new lower cover on my mazda vehicle since it doesn't come pre-attached. This has adhesive so I didn't even need to use the factory method of applying hot glue. It is also extremely lightweight!

It's OK, perhaps a little too thick, it's not very strong either and if you apply it and want to move it, nope. It just tears off. So it's what it costs sort of thing. I'd recommend a thinner more expensive version of this.

Utilisé pour refaire l'insonorisation de la tôle entre moteur et habitacle,côté moteur, d'une clio. Posé il y a quelques mois, le collage n'a pas bougé et l'effet insonorisant est réel. De plus, cet isolant n'a pas l'air d'intéresser les rongeurs qui avaient déchiqueté celui d'origine (genre de laine minérale compressée) sur ce véhicule qui dort dehors en campagne.

I bought this to replace the foam under the engine cover, it's really sticky and did a great job. Also used to sound proof in the boot so a great product.

The sourcingmap Heat Sound Deadening Insulation Mat is smaller than advertised, which was disappointing. The material feels cheap and the sound insulation performance is underwhelming. It didn’t make much difference in reducing noise as I hoped. Not great value for the price—would recommend looking for better quality options elsewhere.
