Good buy
I was glad to find this wick for my oil lamp. Definitely worth the cost. It is a long length of wick material. Will last for a long time and many power outages.

Seems like the wick burned rather than the oil
The media could not be loaded. I filled my lamp with liquid paraffin lamp oil (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6YTLX1B?th=1) and let the wick sit in it for at least an hour. It appeared to be fully saturated and did light well and burned brightly, but seemed like the cotton was burning instead of the oil itself. When I blew it out the ember stayed lit for a long time and there was at least half an inch of ash by the time it went out (I didn't get a picture because I moved the lamp and knocked it off before I could get one). I relit the lamp a few minutes later and when I blew it out, again the ember glowed for a while and there was a lot of smoke. So maybe it just needs a long time to become fully saturated.EDIT: I will give the vendor credit for excellent customer service; they offered me a full refund and made suggestions on how to improve the wick's performance. I tried their tips about a week (?) after first submitting this review and the wick still burned rather than the oil (see current video in review). Maybe I just got a bad one.
