Improved my signal
The impact wasn't enormous but enough to get me a better and more stable signal and it got my router away from a hot window

It works but not an improvement.... however
Ok, the main reason i bought this was so i could get my 5g modem out the sun. Because it needs to be sited on a window, last years hot sun cooked 2 modems. So i bought this to allow me to resite my modem. I lose a couple of Mb but not much and i still get around 100-200 Mbps. Not an improvement but i won't have any more toasty modems.It was very easy to set up with the supplied suction cup inside the window.

Cheap construction with overblown claims
No better than the rabbit ears supplied with my Tenda LTE router—actually worse when sited in the same location as the router was.Even when I found a spot that had reasonable signal strength, the SNR was worse and suffered many more dropped packets. Also, the window sucker wasn't reliable.Returned for a refund.

Removable potable antenna
Excellent design for someone who wanted a movable antenna. Came with the option to stick to the window. Had a sticky pad to semi-permanently fix and also screws for a permanent fix. Already had a strong signal in my area but this added about 5% to the 5G stats

waste of money
I like the look of it but the internal antennas on my 5g router get better signal than this. It is awful.

Purchased with trepidation, results better than I had hoped for
Most of these 4G antennas get poor reviews, and I understand that a lot of people do not quite understand when to use and what to expect, but as a network engineer I'm a lot more pragmatic. I have an okay signal, with the router propped up on books and a cardboard box in the middle of a window, less than ideal. Using this antenna with the window sucker attachment in a corner of the window is much nicer looking, with the added benefit of putting the router somewhere sensible, lower RSRP and RSRQ figures, and a much higher SNR. A side effect is the vastly increased download speeds, up by 50%, not so much on uploads, probably due to the use of MIMO only on downloads.
