Is twisted or braided better?

This is the difference. Braided is usually stronger at the same diameters, less likely to fray or unravel at the ends or from partial thickness cuts and abrasions, more symmetrical, and ties/holds knots better. Twisted can be broken down into smaller strands MUCH easier if that's your thing and is a little less costly.

Perfect for all uses. I use several thousand feet per year making catfish jug lines for my family. I have tried other brands and they do not compare. Soft enough to be workable, plenty of stickiness for tying in knots and having them stay tied.
