Our light bulb blew all out electrics, we could smell burning. When we looked at the bulb you can see burn marks and a hole in the metal. The metal smelt of burning. We were very lucky it blew all out electrics and didn’t cause a fire!!

It took a while to set the bulb up as it needed to be connected to a 2.4GHz frequency of WiFi. After a bit of playing around with my WiFi settings, I managed to get it connected. The light can go from a mellow orange hue to a vivid bright white, and is easily turned on and off with alexa. I just say "Alexa, turn the light on 20%" and poof, just like magic there it is! Easily adjusted to preferred lighting levels depending on what you're doing. I haven't tried it it I'm out of the house yet but also hoping it would work well as a burglar deterrent if I'm away for the night. One star taken off "easy to use" for the initial difficulty in set up, but overall its a great light for the price.

we have spent about 4 hrs trying different phones, tablets, Alexa, down loading apps etc!!! all to no avail. whatever the problem is these smart bulbs aren't smart !! yes they turn on and off like any bulb but to try and get them to be smart and work via your phone or voice etc is more or less impossible !!!! don't waste your money.

These bulbs are amazing! I have used other bulbs for years and they are incomparable.... after the initial setup, which is mega easy(as long as you can use just 2.4ghz WiFi) the app is very good and connectivity with Alexa is great!..... The bulb appears very bright and it’s great you can have a Choice of the warmth!... I have been using this bulb now for about a month and would highly recommend!!

Decent smart lightbulb. Reasonably easy to set up, following the instructions. Works well and hasn’t dropped connection in a week or so of being up. Is it as straightforward as a Phillips hue? No, is it much more complex to set up? Not really. Couple of steps and it’s on. What it does have over the Phillips I have, is the range of warmth and brightness settings. Would buy another.

Purchased as some idiot decided to put a light switch behind the door meaning you have to close the door to get to the light which is set right back on the wall.....not easy to find in the dark when heading to the kitchen for a early morning drink while trying not to trip over the dog. Now it's simply a case of saying 'alexa light on' and like witchcraft its comes on/off. To me worth every penny, some good settings and can operate from phone which is fun if you want to annoy someone trying to read :-)

Found these very easy to use. Setup the first and added to Alexa, when I setup the 2nd with the recommended app Alexa found it and added it without me having to do anything.Nice warm/cool light shading and easily dimmable. "Alexa put light on at 30%" and it's done. Can also easily control from the Alexa App on my phone or the PlusMinus App that I downloaded to install them. This will be great when on holiday to give the appearance someone is at the house.

Was initially thrilled with these bulbs - until we had to change our WiFi password and the app now won't recognise them no matter how many times I try to update the info or even reinstall them completely. So now they won't pair with the app at all so I am stuck with them on a bright, daylight setting. Rubbish!
