This is so easy to use. I tested it with known diamonds and known fakes, worked correctly each time. IMO, it is a nice product.

This item is junk and untrustworthy
Just received my tester. The metal block for placing loose stones in to test was missing. This machine gives numerous false readings and therefore in my business as a jeweler it is not trust worthy, its junk. I cannot validate the item. Additionally, I ordered it on the 6th, it arrived on the 10th later in the day and it was eligible for return on the 10th only. So it cannot be returned.Seller does not respond

Inconsistent or failure to reads
So off the bat, the packaging looks nice, and the carry case is cool, but that’s where my positives end.I tested 2 pieces, a pendant off of Amazon and a ring I got from the military base exchange. Both were supposed to be diamonds. The pendant readings were all over the place, and a lot of times, just didn’t give a reading. Those are tiny stones though (0.02 at least, I’d assume). No worries, I checked the ring I KNOW IS DIAMOND. It again gave me inconsistent readings, and even gave me different readings on the same stone! I wanted this item, but think I’ll pass until the tech is better at this price point.Amazon offered me a refund, so like Amazon usually does, it’ll be resolved quick.

Product matches description. Incorrectly identified lab created diamond as moisannite. I tested the stones via Raman spec to verify. If diamond/mois is your intention, this shouldn’t be your final verification. Shipping was fast, no other complaints than product seems to claim an ability that it doesn’t have

Works distinguishing Diamond vs Moissanite
Tested on a few items (which I know what they really are) and worked properly while detecting diamonds and/vs moissanite - easy to use and precise results afaik.

Gives inaccurate readings
Kept this but it gives different readings at times . Sometimes says mossanite when it is a diamond .
