I like how this can work with a standard USB male end, and one to fit a USB C port. This is a jewel, but it does get hot! Haven't seen any degradation in writing/reading, or speed on this jewel of a drive!

This is to replace a 256G drive that was convertible between Connector Type A and Type C.The old one had a slide clip that after time lost its retention and would slide back into the casing when trying to connect.This one will obviously not fall prey to that trouble.As a habit, I now test my drives regardless of the brand name because I keep getting fraudulent chips through amazon. The previous (not a sandisk) that I ordered showed that it had 1TB of storage but was actually an 8Gig that was formatted to look like it had the correct amount.You can see the results of this drive in my attached picture.

Constant throttling, extreme oveheating and embarising write speeds will be lucky if you get over 10mb once in a blue moon.
