Spontaneous dry humor
"Come, come Mr Bond..." dry British wit doesn't get much better than this pair.

English humour at its quirkiest.
It takes awhile to understand what is happening, but I'm not sure anyone can fully figure it out. Are they really acting? Did someone write this as a script and these two guys memorized lines? Or are they ad-libbing thro the whole "movie"? We love the way they try to outdo each other imitating famous actors, swap snide remarks and trade digs. It's a kind of love-hate relationship. It's just oddball.

For foodies
Love Steve Cooganโs self-depricating humor! The first movie is funnier, only because they seem to recycle some of the jokes in the second- but enjoyed both. More enjoyable if you have good wine and food while watching. Youโll understand when you see it!

Not a travel film
A really bad movie. Too much interior (inside car, inside hotel rooms, inside restaurants, etc.) talking, not much outside/inside traveling. Single dad looking for sex (Pleasssssssse). In real life two very funny Brit comedians -- this film not very funny, all though it was tremendously boring. Don't waste your money in purchasing it. If you really want to watch it borrow it from the library.

One is beautiful. The other is hilarious.
Incredibly clever and witty while still being first rate travelogue. I've actually located a couple of the Italian restaurants and used they're trip as a gastro-guide to eating my way through Italy. While "The Trip To Italy" is the more scenic of the two films, "The Trip" is funnier. For anyone wanting s belly laugh or two I'd recommend they watch "The Trip". Both are superb!

Got what I ordered. Promptly.

thoroughly enjoyed these
Surprising how fascinating these films are considering there is essentially no plot other than "two guys driving around trying out fancy restaurants".

Fun movies
Hailing from the UK as I do I love the Trip movies. The first one is arguably the best but the sequel has its moments. Thoroughly enjoyable. If you like Brit humour then Coogan and Brydon will keep you entertained from start to finish. They seem to have a special chemistry. Highly recommended.

Oddly enough, I caught a few minutes of 'The Trip' on TV, thought it was very funny. DVD includes raunchier bits that TV edits out (was surprised) but I found 'Trip to Italy' a much better movie. I will happily keep this in my library. Thank you for keeping delivery time within bounds promised. DVD in perfect condition.

Trips galore!
We Recently saw movie "Trip to Spain" and realised that it was actually the third movie in a series (although they all stand up individually), so I bought the first two. Absolutely brilliant and funny - on-going impressions of Jagger, Bowie, Caine, Roger Moore etc., always trying to out-do each other. Interesting travel locations and food added to the pleasure.

Great interaction.
Great views of Northern England, Italy and food preparation in the kitchens.

Not everyone's "cup of tea"
Dry Englsh humour -But if you enjoy having your restaurants critiqued by a couple of amateur foodies who verbally spar with each other in fun you will enjoy this duo.
