Matpe Beans, the healthy fruit. The more you eat . . .
I love these beans. They are tasty and you get a lot for your buck. They are so healthy for you and go with lots of recipes. They are tiny and are made of high-quality protein.

Sprouts superbly!
I very successfully sprouted Rani urad, moth, and mung beans together. Picture of 2/3 Tbs each of them in a wide mouth mason jar after 4 1/2 days of sprouting(they will be ready for harvest in another day) following an overnight soak. This is an absolutely perfect combo, they look, and taste great together! Edit: Iโm adding a picture of them after harvest the next day, also, the jar was so full Iโm trying 1/2 Tbs each instead of 2/3 Tbs each.

Not quality product
I use urad dhal to make dosa and idlies. Since I received this one from Amazone I have made three attempts to make those and failed all three times. The dough does not behave as usual and is not rising, it gets sour and splits into water and some unwholesome looking and smelling stuff. Believe the beans are old or else ....do not know what else. Dissapointing.

Fresh and delicious
These were great. Super clean and no rocks/debris. Seemed fresh as I soaked for 12 hours and a ton sprouted. Made for a wonderful dal makhani

NOT gluten friendly - misleading description
Product described as gluten friendly. It is not. Images on Amazon do not show the allergy warning. Processed on machinery that also handles wheat. Product description and photos on Amazon are misleading

Fantastic condition beans, did a test sprout (intend to alos grow and supply source) and all sprouted after overnight soak and 2 day rinse cycle. Sprouting in the garden now. Cooked and they were delicious in a daal!

Authentic Quality for the Perfect Dal Makhani!
These Rani Urad Whole Black Lentils are incredibly clean and cook up to that signature creamy texture every time. They have a rich, earthy flavor that makes home-cooked meals taste like they came straight from a restaurant.

Bean flour
A unique product that I used to substitute white flour in Whole Wheat bread with my breadmaker. A unique taste but not bad. Small bag for cost when compared with white flour or even whole wheat flour. May be good in cookies but could be pricey if used frequently or on it's own as bag is tiny.
