Can These Be Recycled?

They show two more leads under the eraser that you load in from the bottom. You can buy more leads, but part of the reasoning here is they get lost stolen, given away so quickly it is good they are cheap. I used to use these for trim carpentry as I needed fine lines for accurate cuts. Lost or crushed was not that uncommon either. Different tools for different jobs.

Can the eraser be replaced? I’m having a hard time finding them.

A regular cap eraser (for wooden pencils) works in a pinch. I have done it many times.

Are replacement erasers available?

Please note that not all BIC Mechanical Pencils are considered refillable. All refillable BIC Mechanical Pencils are packaged with additional eraser/lead refills. If your pencils did not come with the additional eraser/lead refills, they are considered disposable and refills are not available.
