Awhile ago I signed up for beauty boxes from julep. I got this and I continuously go back to it. It is pricey and there are other cheaper options, but I still get the frequently. It has a light Citrus scent. It rubs in like an oil and dissolves dirt, makeup and sunscreens. Hit it with water and it emulsifies beautifully and washes clean off your skin. Others tend to leave a residue.

This has become my fave Cleansing Oil. On my second bottle now. It lasts a long time, like months. Leaves my normal to dry, but mature skin (over 50) super soft and clean.

So glad I found this on Amazon since my box beauty retail store no longer carries it. Not greasy or oily but gentle and non drying for my 55+ skin

I did not receive this product free or through any other promotion to write this review. Also, as a background I have combination skin (honestly depends on the day it is either oily or really dry) and extremely sensitive skin as well. I really love this cleansing oil!! It does an excellent job at getting all the makeup off your face and making your skin feel hydrated as well. I have tried a lot of cleansing oils before (khiels, neutrogena, etc.) and I really like this one best because the formula isn't too watery ( I hate when it runs down my face or is hard to rub into skin) but also isn't too thick or sticky. I also prefer cleansing oils to micellar water which also seems to be trending as a makeup remover. Oils seem much less harsh on the skin and really do a good job at wiping all the makeup off. I wear a lot of thick, full coverage makeup (marc jacobs, mac, etc.) and this really gets the job done. The smell is really great too- not too strong and very subtle (almost like olive oil- very clean and refreshing). The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it is a bit more expensive than some other cleansing oils out there- however I continue to repurchase because it is a great product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone (and have recommended it to friends).

I love this product. I use this luxurious oil every morning for lymph massage of my face, neck, and décolleté. I use it in the evening to remove makeup, dirt and grime and use a linen face cloth to remove the oil & splash with cool water. It has a lovely texture and scent that keeps my skin soft and subtle. Since using this oil I have reduced my use of an exfoliant to once a week. My skin is softer, clearer, more subtle, and my pores are clear. When I use this oil I feel like I am having a spa treatment. My skin is normal and HAD some dry areas but since using this product, I no longer have dry patches. I think the dry areas were the result of harsh cleansers. I use this product at least twice a day (3 squirts each) and the bottle has lasted 7 months before having to reorder.

Very gentle for sensitive skin. Rub it on your dry face, then rinse it off. Takes off most makeup, but not always all mascara.

This stuff is amazing. It has only natural ingredients which are all natural oils. Safe for use around eyes....Not in your eyes though. Fragrance is not added but the oils have their own fragrance to it. I first used Julep Love Your Bare Face cleansing oil upon the recommendation of an ULTA sales person. I asked the ULTA salesperson for a natural cruelty free cleansing oil that would take off water proof mascara. This was a tall order but she came back with Julep Love Your Bare Face cleansing oil. Since then i tried other brands both cheap & expensive but them came back to Julep. I prefer this over all other cleansing oils. It is very hydrating so that when you use a wash cloth or water to take off your makeup along with the Julep cleansing oil....your skin will feel nourished. This is usually just the first part of your 2 step cleansing process but this is the part that prevents your skin barrier from getting stripped & damaged. Even if you have oily skin, you still need to remove your makeup, & this is the best way. But if you are older/have drier skin....this is a must

I actually love this product. I have used it for a few years now. It is the only cleanser that I can use on my face that doesn't cause extreme dryness. It normally has a clean, fresh scent, very, very light. My last order of this product came from this seller on Amazon, and I am noticing that it does not feel the same. It seems more thin of a consistency. The smell is not good. It stinks. I emailed Julep to inquire. I gave them the code from the bottom of my bottle. They informed me that the bottle that I have is from 2016!!!! So, I was sold a four year old bottle of this cleansing oil that has obviously (based off of scent) gone rancid. I asked them if they have had a formulation change, just to be sure that wasn't the issue. They told me that there have been no formulation or ingredient changes in the last couple years. The only change is their manufacturer. So, I'm guessing that the main issue is that my product was FOUR YEARS OLD when it was sent to me. LOL! Terrible. Don't let this sway you from ordering this item because it IS awesome. You might just consider ordering from Julep directly and not from Amazon.

The item arrived quickly and in great condition. The packaging is cute. I really wanted to like this product but it just doesn't work for my skin. The product claims to be hydrating and I found quite the opposite to be true. I have dry/combo skin and live an extremely dry climate, and found that this product dried my skin out. Only used a couple of time and had to stop, even using just at night didn't help.

Presentación muy pequeña, solo 45ml, es casi de viaje. El algodón no resbala, hay que mojarlo para que resbale y poder desmaquillar bien. El área de ojos pudiera molestar a veces, pero depende de cada quien. Deja suave la piel después de retirar el maquillaje.
