Teasome Mesh Stainless Steel Single Cup Tea Strainer with Silicone Coated Handle and Lid, Red

I spent time researching tea infusers because the one I purchased previously turned out to be poorly made; the strainer basket worked fine but the plastic pieces covering the basket handles and lid would start to slip off after a few months' use and end up going down the garbage disposal :( - if you can't handle the hot bare metal infuser, it's time to toss it.... When I saw this one, it looked like it would be good.....and I love it :) It seems to be very well made and the sturdy silicone that surrounds the entire top of the infuser and lid makes it easy to handle after brewing tea, no burning fingers plus it's not likely that the silicone will be slipping off! The infuser basket is large enough to hold tea to brew several cups at a time and any tea you use has plenty of room to expand while brewing. The holes are tiny enough to contain even Rooibos tea and there's only a little bit of tea "dust" at the bottom of the pot. So far, this has been a great purchase!

A well thought-out design; this tea infuser leaves no messy residue from the steeping process and the silicon rim/handles work great (allows for easy handling when the infuser is hot)! The Teasome infuser is far superior to the traditional tea ball that I used to use. Although this infuser is not a true “mesh” it still performs the task exceedingly well.

Love this tea infuser. I have several and this is by far the best one. Lots of room for the tea leaves to expand and will fit any size mug I have with ease. Now I just need one in every color to have tea with friends

Overall, I really like this infuser. It is a nice size, I could easily use this in my 32 oz insulated tumbler, my 16 oz tall slender cups, or my smaller cups. I opened the box and immediately made a nice cup of hibiscus tea. The one thing I wish was designed a bit differently is the lid - it doesn't secure to the diffuser. A slip lock or even a notch that would hold the lid in place would be nice. This is a nice diffuser, with cool to the touch silicon handles. I will be using this infuser regularly. The tea cup strainer is very easy to use and practical. I really like that it comes with handles giving me the opportunity to set inside my mug or any other type of container to set and soak. My daughter spent a semester in France recently and after a weekend excursion to England brought home some English tea. The tea is loose-leaf tea so I needed sometime to steep it in. I saw this offered for review and purchased it. Great deal with my small discount, but would have been worth the purchase at the full price too.It was easy and straightforward to use. I found that ½ tsp of tea is perfect for my taste. Never having used loose-leaf tea, I was thankful for the insert with the steeping times on it. The infuser fit perfect in my cup, covering the opening nicely, which retained the heat better than I expected. I like my tea hot and was expecting to have to “nuke” it a little bit to head it back up after steeping was complete.Unexpectedly, the cleaning of the infuser was much easier than I anticipated. I thought the leaves and bits would have gotten stuck, but they did not. It rinsed right out, making clean up a breeze.I have found a new love for loose-leaf tea. Partly because of the wonderful real English tea and the ease of this infuser.

I am so in love with this product! Everyone in my house hold drinks coffee and tea. I can't ever keep enough brewed. But this product allows for a FRESH piping hot cup, every single time . the rubber grips prevent the handles from getting too hot to handle, and the tight fitting lid allows for the steam to stay trapped in for a better steeping experience. The fine meshing design of the steeper keeps the residue from leaking into your tea, however as with all tea, there is a little residue. We have also used this steeper with regular coffee as well, and let me just tell you, that was the best cuo of Joe I've ever had . even my husband agrees and he is extremely picky when it comes to his coffee. This is a good quality single cup tea strainer. We don't have loose leaf tea, but we use this for our bootea weight loss tea - which has the small sticks and crushed herbs. Additionally, we used this in our Keurig - so it's super simple. Put the Tea Strainer in the cup, pour in the tea herbs/sticks, turn on the keurig to add hot water, cover with the cover, and let sit. Easy to use, it strains the tea beautifully, easy to clean and looks nice. In all the times we used this the past couple weeks, not once did a stick or herb get through the strain holes. So even without a bag (and without using loose leaves) we didn't get any junk in our tea/mouth.Gotta love the green color too.
