Cheap junk
Used bottle about 4-5 times total. First, the popper top tends to suck back in after you squeeze the bottle, partially closing it and requiring you to pull it back out with your teeth. This isn't objectively bad, maybe you like having to pull the pop top open EVERY time you need a drink, but I found it to be a pain in the butt. What IS objectively bad is the design and thinness of the plastic. On my ride today, the bottle popped out of the cage when I hit a bump--it happens. Even on a road bike, it happens. No biggie, stop, get the bottle, ride on. To my shock, I found the bottle was torn all to heck around the top rim for about a third for the circumference. This should not happen with a water bottle getting bounced onto the road. Upon looking at the abraded gash, I saw the plastic was really thin there. Hence, cheap junk.Cool logo though, as it sits in the recycling bin...

Five Stars
Very good bottle, does not leak, easy to open and close.Summer 2016 edit: I have been filling the bottles and putting them in the freezer in preparation for hot weather rides. This works fine, except that the cap and its drinking mechanism can get stuck in the ice, and one of the mechanisms has broken. No biggie, but my advice is to fill the bottle about 1" from the top, and put the cap on loosely. If possible, keep the cap outside of the freezer entirely. Another feature of the summer frozen bottle experiment is that it will bulge at one spot around the "SKS" label. If you have a prong-style cage, orient the bulge so it fits through the opening. If the cage is a complete circle, you may have a problem fitting it in when the bottle is solid ice. BTW, in 90 degree weather, a fully frozen bottle turns into ambient temperature water in about 1 hour.

These bottles are GREAT!
These bottles are GREAT! I was looking for a bottle that did not make my water taste funny. I am very picky about my waterโs taste. These bottles delivered on this point with flying colors. I have left water in them for over 3 weeks and it still tastes great! I have 2 of them on my mountain bike and they have worked amazingly. I have the old school aluminum cage holders and they have never come out no matter how bumpy the trail is. The only downside to them is that the spouts are not protected from the elements in any way. They do tend to get dusty on the trails. This doesnโt really bother me but it might bother some people.

It is amazing how difficult it is to just find a quality ...
It's a simple water bottle, does what it should and doesn't leak. It is amazing how difficult it is to just find a quality pull top water bottle these day, there are so many fancy drinking mechanisms, but when you are cruising down the road, you just want to open it and squirt it without thinking about it. I bought these specifically because I was looking for a shorter bottle to fit in my husband bottle holder, as the tall ones don't work with his particular mount system. This bottle is about 7.75 inches tall to the top of the spout, and holds exactly 20 fluid ounces. Exactly the size we were looking for.

Don't fret it...these are awesome!
Wide mouth fits ice cubes, doesn't leak, good size, great price. I've tried many water bottles and based on my satisfaction with SKS's fenders, I knew I had to give these water bottles a try. I've bought several now and really like them. I don't put the bottle tops in the dishwasher because the heat has caused leakage problems (non-SKS) in the past. Nevertheless, the nipple is tight and has to stay that way to prevent leakage, so you may want to consider the issue. Also, the nipple actually locks closed. I had overlooked that feature until recently, but that adds certain value. I've tried the thermal bottles by Polar and such and suffice it to say, IMHO they serve a narrow niche for which they charge a premium. For the purpose, I haven't found anything better than these SKS.

Good bottle
For a more "balanced" look I have both the 0.75 and the 0.5 version on my bike. They work well. The bottles have a rather intense plastic smell when new, but the water has no foreign taste. Like others have said, the bottle can easily be operated with one hand and a set of teeth.

Delicious bottle
Large, easy to squeeze, doesn't leak (at all), spout is extremely easy to open, graphics/colors aren't hideous. This bottle is pretty fantastic. And for $7? That's insane. There is only one downside, and it's extremely minor. The cap has tapered edges and can be a bit difficult to grip when screwing/unscrewing. It was a tad difficult to get off the first time, but i haven't had a problem with it since. You don't have to tighten it much.Buy as many as you can.

Nice Bottle
Love it. High quality with no need to try to "soak out" the plastic taste. It is manufactured of "Food Grade" material and is stamped into the bottle. The bottle is manufactured in Holland of polyethylene. I don't know about you, but it has been impossible to find a bottle not made in China. And if you want to know more about how the bottle performs, SKS provides all the testing data about the bottle on their website. Very nice!

Cheap, good design, no issues with the top closing.
Cheap, good design, no issues with the top closing as some other reviews mentioned. Gave it a couple of washes and there was no redisual plastic taste. It's a snug fit in my bottle holder but I prefer it that way. I will probably end up buying another soon.
