LOVE!!! I finally had to give up my 35 year old heirloom coffee table and was agonizing about finding a replacement. I was interested in a lift top and I liked that this one included drawers and an open shelf for maximum storage options without looking clunky. Assembly took me about 2 hours by myself but attaching the actual lift top does require two people. The top itself can be reversed so that the drawers can be facing towards you or away from you when you are using it. Instructions were easy to follow. For veneered MDF I’m pretty pleased with the quality.

I assembled this thing while watching a college football game on TV. The Aggies lost. But I did get a sturdy place to put my feet upon on in the TV room. The elevating top works out perfectly for snacking or working on the computer. Just the right height. The assembly was at about 8 year old level and all the parts very well organized.... no bags, but arrayed out and labeled clearly. Much better than i expected. The two drawers turn out a great place to put the remotes and game controllers. Not a work of art, but good honest coffee table meant more for work than looks.

Very nice. Difficult to raise the top part. Requires both hands and doesn’t raise easily ( awkward ). LOTS OF PARTS TO PUT TOGETHER. Took quite awhile. Very pretty and functional Love the drawers and bottom shelf. Good buy for the money

I don't normally write reviews on Amazon items. You get what you pay for. But I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this piece of furniture. It's your typical kit style piece. However, it's higher quality than most. You will spend some time assembling it. My estimate is an hour and hour with a partner, maybe an hour and a half or two hours by yourself. The instructions were good and easy to follow. I would suggest as others have to install the lift top brackets to the base of the unit before attaching the table top, at least for a single person. It really all went together well, with no drama. All holes lined up properly and with plenty of extra parts, a bag full, nice touch. It actually came with a screw driver that you will want to keep in your tool box, also a nice extra touch in my opinion. The table is very sturdy after assembly. It's actually kind of over engineered for the price point. That's rare for kit furniture. As far as materials, I would say adequate to above average, especially for the price point. Nothing feels cheap. The finished assembly feels sturdy and robust. I'm not sure if they use an actual wood veneer or a synthetic laminate, but it looks like real wood when assembled, not too shiny like a plastic veneer. It seems to take wood oil nicely. I did assemble the unit with polyurethane glue in all dowel pins. It seems incredibly sturdy. The lift top mechanism works extremely well, and smoothly. The only real cons I can describe are that the drawers and interior bottom panels are "relatively" thin, but this is a minor issue at best. Overall I'm incredibly happy with the purchase and final product. It assembled without drama, seems extremely sturdy, and looks good when completed. What more can you ask for especially considering the price point? Highly recommended. (This is just my opinion btw)

Great little coffee table with plenty of storage. Took about an hour to put together, not to difficult. Pay attention to the final step when installing the lift top, if you dont get it right youll have to take it apart and flip it back around. Table seems sturdy and well made. Ordered they grey, very light grey which is what we wanted.

This was exactly what we were looking for. It took me 2 hours to put together it may have taken less because I would stop here and there. Only time I did need a 2nd pair of hands was when I was putting the top on the table. It was also the most awkward part because it was little screws and it was hard to get them started without some extra light. I just used my cell phone to provide more light. I had no issues with the drilled holes. Everything aligned as it should. It is the perfect height. Is really sturdy. No issues with sliding the table top up or down. Came very well packaged and the instructions were great. I see this being a table we have for a long time.

This is a good, more inexpensive option for a coffee table. It has great storage and different color options. It did take me about 3 hours in total to get it fully assembled. It was pretty straightforward, up until installing the lift top. It took me a good 45 mins to figure out how to get it installed correctly, which could be my own fault, but I think the manual could have been a but clearer, especially for someone who has never built a lift top table. At 1st, I thought there was an issue with my hinges. I couldn't get the top to sit flush with the rest of the table, so I took the whole thing off 3 times to figure it out. I read through reviews that also had issues with the hinges, so I figured maybe I just got sent hydrologic ones instead of spring loaded. I figured I'd try attaching the hinges to the inside of the table 1st and then try attaching the top, and this is when I found out that I was putting the top on backwards which was causing it not to sit flush. I'm not sure if this is the same issue other reviewers are having with their tops not sitting flush, but I docked a star just because I think the manual could have shown not to flip the top around. Other then the long assembly time, everything else is perfect.

The table looks and works better than the similar ones found at the local furniture stores for half the price. It's well made, goes together very easily and looks good. The top opens easily two handed and works in both directions. The drawers, although quite small, work well and glide easily. Even with the top open, it's very sturdy and can take a fair amount of weight. I'd suggest saving the corner protectors the top had when they shipped it. I put them back on mine and I think it looks good with them and makes the corners softer in case you accidentally clip one when walking by it. The only complaint I could make, and it is not even a true complaint but simply here because I felt it was worth sharing, is that it takes both hands to raise or lower the top, unlike some of the much more expensive ones which can be opened with one hand.... although not sure why that is even needed. I would suggest it to anyone looking for a coffee table that has storage. You are going to be hard pressed to find a better one this size for the price, at least new anyway. It was even well packed in the box. The box did get damaged in shipping but none of the parts were even slight damaged despite the box being worse for wear.
