Honestly pretty chuffed with this cabinet! Super easy instructions, even came with screwdriver and Allen key! Really easy to build, I did it myself in about 1 hour 30 minutes, but I did it with a manual screwdriver, I would suggest using a power one, because there is A LOT to screw in and I now have a blister. Great quality for the price, well worth it in my opinion. Just the right amount of space I needed. Doors align well enough, maybe very slightly tight fitting but all works as it should, and generally looks great! Very happy and recommend!

Very easy to assemble, looks good when completed and for the Price I don’t think it can be beaten.

Does the job for a cheap price. Easy enough to build, and I don't agree with another reviewer's comments on pieces being numbered incorrectly - that wasn't my experience. I'm going to say that is probably a case of 'builder error' LOL. The worst thing about this is the stupid extra castor that fits under the bottom drawer, to stop the cabinet tipping over if you've got it pulled all the way out with a load of heavy paperwork stored within. Unfortunately the cabinet isn't very deep and being made of light chipboard, that will be the consequence without it unless you fit some kind of counter-weight to the back. I've got my fairly heavy shredder on top so in truth, I could probably remove it but that won't be an option if you've located your cabinet under a desk. I suppose it does kind of work but, when you try and wheel the whole thing out to clean under it, the cabinet takes on the personality of a broken supermarket trolley!

Super happy with this filing cabinet. As a woman with limited strength and building abilities (just a lot of Lego!) this was a breeze to do. Everything was in the box, everything was labelled, there were some super clear instructions that were easy to follow, the tools were all supplied, really high quality and well thought out. A+ for easy to follow and a quality kit. Small issues - In the blurb it says "full extension" on the side of the drawer....and that is misleading, they don't mean "fully extendable" unfortunately. 10cm of drawer is retained in the body when you pull out the drawer. Just want to make that clear, it's a normal thing for a Filing Cabinet, but this one did appear to open fully. -The wood grain pattern on one of my drawer fronts is a bit pitted and mottled, some of the wood pattern was nicer on the back of the unit! Wish they had paid more attention to the fronts of the drawers being a nicer finish. I guess it's random what you get and I did not contact anyone about it (they may have happily replaced it), you might want to check before you start building, like I didn't! Help with probs you might get - - It'd be faster with an electric screw driver I am sure. I just used the one provided, which was comfy to use but slow. It took me, with tea breaks etc about 3 hours. It was quite relaxing tbh. - People are complaining the metal rods for the hanging folders don't fit. They do if you keep turning them but it's hard by hand. I clamped a G-clamp on the rod and then turned that. All the rods fit great then. Bonus you can remove them and change them when the unit is fully built too! - In the instructions it keeps telling you to use a certain length of screw (it wasn't completely clear to me at least), they meant use the right bag of screws, not the slightly longer ones that look a bit similar in another bag. - The box is heavy! (I had to "walk it" into the house) and the finished unit is heavy, so you might want to build it in the room you need it to end up in :) - I have actually dropped in a concertina filing folder rather than suspending folders, it's a pretty cheap way of filing things with no chance of stuff dropping out, plus the issue with the tabs on top of the folders not standing up (see other reviews) is not a bother to me, they sit well below the roof of the drawer. I am really pleased with it, and happy to have built it myself. It feels a great quality, fits perfectly in the gap between my desks and feels solid enough to hold my (10kg) printer. Would recommend to even someone with basic Lego skills previously. :)

Where to start? Significant other wanted a new filing cabinet. She refuses to wait until the weekend so we can go to our local office supplies and orders this from Amazon. Turns up mid-week in a very battered box. I arrive home from work and there it is, sitting in the hallway, looking a bit bedraggled and sorry for itself - oh, and the box with the filing cabinet was there as well. Wife is telling me it's not 'easy self assembly' but rather a test for joining NASA as a rocket scientist. I took a look at the instructions and, actually, they're pretty good. Everything is clearly numbered, the pictures are good, the parts are in separate bags and they all have numbers (or letters) on them - take my advice guys, DON'T tell her that. First shouting match of the evening. Next stress point comes when she says - I'll do dinner and you put this together. Yeah, well, it's not a 5 minute job. Lots of fiddly bits and I'd just about got the carcass completed when dinner was ready. Much huffing from her as 'it shouldn't take that long'! The vein in my temple starts to throb. Build quality isn't great, but it's not an expensive bit of kit. Holes are in the right place and parts fit where they should, albeit some are a bit wonky. Dowels were loose so had to drop a bit of wood glue in the holes and along comes the question - why does it smell like your shed in here? Starting to get a bit miffed with it all now. Half an hour later she's yelling at me and her foot is bleeding. She's trodden on one of the small, sharp little screws and, naturally, that's my fault. Most of the unit is complete now, and it's actually looking pretty smart. I put the handles on and slid the drawers in - job done. Took about 2 hours with a dinner break in between. Kit comes with it's own dinky little double headed screwdriver (take my tip and use an electric one as there are lots of things to be screwed together). There are enough fittings to complete the job with a bag of spares if needed. Once together it is a lot sturdier than it felt whilst building it. Anyway, the unit is now upside down in the vegetable patch with a hammer sticking out of the front of it because 'the colour of the wood is wrong' Of course it is. Not sure if the door is going to be locked when I get back from the pub later but I probably wont be in any state to care.

Easy to assemble but the end product is not ideal!! The bottom drawer does not fully close and I cannot work out the cause so have contacted the seller,awaiting response. The instructions are very clear which I followed precisely. Took approx 2 hrs to assemble. Currently disappointed as clearly cannot return having assembled!! Ps...there is a review which states "even a female could assemble this" what a cheek!! Is females are quite capable and do not always need a male to do the work for is!!😁

Bought similar items before to find them very poor unable to cope with weight of documents, runners that jan up. This is great looks goods and works perfectly.

Good value 2 drawer filing cabinet. Feels sturdy but some design features look inherently weak. It takes a lot of work to put together but the instructions are first class. The max weight it supports according to the spec is lower than I would like as I was it to support a 25kg printer. I may need to add some extra support ties on the back
