Somnior Beds Backcare Divan bed complete set with mattress, headboard and 4 drawers (Small Double)

I thought i would wait a while before leaving feedback, i wanted to test the product well, first impression was wow, what you see is what you get, its exactly like the image and description, i have to say overall the bed is great value for money, you cant really complain, we purchased the superking, and i have to say, "its big" not just wide but also height, im only 5ft 3 and i have to climb into bed, so i wouldn't recommend for an old couple, the mattress is so wide i cant even fit normal superking fitted sheets on it, i had to purchase a specially made one for a 9 1/2 inch wide mattress, they are available on amazon, in total the bed height with mattress measures 63 cm with wheels attached, there is no way of folding this mattress, we had a job getting it up the stairs, the only negative comment i would give, is that thre are no connectors to clip the 2 bases together, they just sit next to each other so when needing to make the bed and move about, it does take two otherwise the bases move.I always had a soft mattress and decided to go for a firm one like this for back support, at first i suffered worse back pain the first few nights and i hated it, but then my body adjusted, now its much better but im thinking of buying a memory foam mattress topper, its just a bit too firm for me, there is a label about the mattress, stating it has memory foam sides, and is for back support etc, but its just stuck on and not like others i have had before which are sewn onto the mattress fabric, mine peels off very easily.Draws are great, lots of room and very strong, Headboard is great, mine came with a tear in at first but they quickly dealt with a replacement, the fabric on the headboard is quite thin, so for value i give 5 stars, for quality i give 3 stars, a great buy and great customer service, but careful buying your sheets because i wasted lots of money at first on sheets that didnt fit so i would buy flat or wide fitting ones.

I was so nervous buying a bed online, especially from an independent seller but I was very pleasantly surprised. I placed the order and received a delivery estimate of the 18-22nd of January. As soon as I placed the order I was contacted by bedexpress who informed me their deliveries were running a few days behind owing to a busy Christmas period. The bed was delivered on the 22nd so within the time estimate provided. Customer services were happy to help and answer my questions and chased up the delivery to provide me with a date. Excellent for a small independent company, especially when high street chains were telling me it would take 4 weeks for a bed triple the price. Now onto the actual product. The bed is gorgeous so comfortable and way beyond my expectation. I thought that for the price I would end up with two pieces of cardboard and a few springs held together with the cheapest fabric. But how wrong I was. The product was EXACTLY as described and looked EXACTLY as it does in the picture. It really is a lovely bed. The only very minor issue was that it was missing the small clips that connect the two halves of the base. I've contacted costumer services and it was quickly resolved. The bed was usable in the mean time because of the connecting headboard so no real issue. Overall my husband and I think we got an excellent lovely bed at an amazing price and so would recommend bedexpress, the bed is a lovely size and we wouldn't hesitate ordering from them again.

Considering the price, this bed is fantastic value.We really needed a super king bed, but we didn't want to put a lot of money into a new one as we are pretty sure that we will leave the flat that we are currently renting in a year or two, and we may end up having to sell or get rid of the bed. We are very happy with our purchase. However, if you are buying something to use every single day and for the long term, I would try to invest more for better quality that would surely last longer.The mattress is an open coil with a layer of memory foam on one of the sides. It is very comfortable and goes as medium-firm which is accurate. The layer of memory foam makes it very very enjoyable, but should you find that it's not firm enough, you can always use the other side which is supposed to be orthopedic, as per the seller's comments. I don't know how long it's going to last, but at least it should go for a couple or a few years. We have been using it for 1 and a half month and it's been great.The bed has 4 drawers of decent quality, I was expecting much less for the price. I had to take one out as it wasn't rolling on the rails, after fitting it back in everything went perfect. The divans feel very sturdy, and we have not had any issues whatsoever regarding them moving apart from each other - we have used the provided hook thingy that goes underneath and keeps them both together. We are using the wheels of course, as otherwise you cannot really open the drawers. Our bedroom floor is carpeted so maybe the people with issues have harder or more slippery floors. The headboard is indeed flaky, and one of the bolts won't screw to the nut in the divan, but it does the job. We have greatly reduced the wobbling by filling the space between headboard and wall with the mattress' plastic cover, that we have folded up and put in between the center wooden bars that hold the headboard.

Putting it together the base was broken in transit ,the manufacturer sent a replacement straight away
