Do you need 1 can per gallon?

So do I use 2 cans for 8 quart engine

Will the product still be as effective after it has cooled overnite? Couldn't get my old changed the day i added the product (EPR)?

My understanding is once the product is brought up to temperature in the engine, then cooled, it is no longer effective.

After adding how many miles can you drive? I added drove approximately 10 miles to walmart for oil change but they couldn't get old oil filter off.

From a BG Rep "EPR has a high zinc contact for a friction reducer so even though it is thin and has a detergent in it it will not damage anything. It just becomes one with the oil once engine temperature cools"
