Meliora Cleaning Products Plastic-Free Dish Soap for Hand Washing, 7 Oz. (Lemon)

At over $50, this was an absolute rip off. I was looking forward to a non-plastic solution to dish detergent, but Meliora certainly isn't it. It leaves a greasy/waxy layer on the water, and turns it water a milky colour. It has very little cleaning power. One star might be a more appropriate rating - if it cost about 75% less I'd still likely only leave 3 stars as it does't work well.

1 bar has nearly lasted my household 2 years! We wash all pots, pans, knives, & handmade ceramics by hand each day. Suds up great. Dishes come out squeaky clean. I love that it’s unscented and cuts out unnecessary plastic! I wish it came in some kind of dish. I’ve been using a ramekin.

This suds up well, cleans well and smells great. Highly recommend

Its light lemon smell is very pleasant while washing dishes. Works well on grease and stuck on food. Leaves no residue on dishes. I will be buying again.

I like this soap, but not for the dishes. I originally bought it hoping for a more natural dish soap bar. Based on reviews and research, it seemed like a great fit. At first, I did use it for the dishes, but unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed, it left my dishes feeling a bit greasy. I noticed that if I washed a plate and didn’t rinse it immediately, the soap residue made the surface feel slick once it dried. Because of that, I stopped using it for dishes. However, I’ve started using it as a hand soap in the kitchen, and for that, it’s fantastic! It leaves my hands feeling clean and not dried out. I actually love it for that purpose and would probably buy it again, just not for dishwashing.
