We had not bought a Keurig because of the waste and had heard that coffee pods made very strong coffee, which we don't like. This has been great! Holds 1+ tablespoons of our favorite ground coffee. I also use paper inserts, which work very well and decompose. The top holds the grounds inside the pod so we get a great cup of coffee with easy cleanup. .

This is a wonderful, sturdy reusable K-Cup. I prefer this to the filters that have the snap close lid, because those are messy. This has a screw top, and is easy to use. You will save so much plastic by using this instead of K-Cups in your Keurig!

Using a Keurig Classic, it leaks over the top, through the housing and into the drip pan. Horrible.Going back to that made by Keurig.

The filter works great, I can use my own coffee and save money.

I have a K55 and can confirm that this does not work with Keurig 1.0 models. The outer shell is for the 2.0 models, so it's implied that just the inner filter is for the 1.0s. WRONG. There's no top to hold the grounds in during the brewing process, so they spill out. The inner filter is also slightly too tall to fit, so the bottom needle pushes on the bottom plastic of the filter, warping it during brewing.1.0 owners, avoid this one.

I was holding my filter together with duct tape. This is so much better!

The problem with the after market K cups is the circular depression in the cap is too deep resulting in a poor fit and overflow of brewed coffee. The rubber gasket in the coffee maker fails to seat properly. The rest of the unit is fine and I use the other parts as spares.
