My doctor ordered a blood test for H. Pylori and it came back positive. I did not want to take antibitoic and I researched for natural remedies and found this product, Mastica (Mastic Gum) on Amazon and ordered two bottles. I have not even finished my first bottle, and no longer have the Helicobacter Pylori infection in my stomach! Great news about Mastica (Mastic Gum) is that it WORKS and kills the Helicobacter Pylori infection. I highly recommend it if you have been infected with this very bad bacteria in your Gastrointestional tract. My research was based on information by medical doctors who gave their recommendation on natural remedies, and people who looked for alternative solutions used natural remedies to treat themselves and NOT go in the way of conventional medicine and the use of antibiotics or any pharmaceutical drugs. First I give all praise and honor to my Lord Jesus Christ as I prayed to Him first asking him to heal me, I said, "Physician heal Yourself, as He lives in me by His Holy Spirit. I believe that our Creator has put everything that we need, spices, herbs, even wild flowers etc. in the earth to cure the body when it becomes sick and diseased. My combination was prayer first, then I used Manuka Doctor UMF 24 which is offered on Amazon, it is imported from New Zealand and is very effective in killing the H. Pylori bacteria. This honey is not processed so be sure to look for the UMF number 24 + which is very high in medicinal properties to eradicate this destructive bacteria. Do your homework and research to help yourself. Just a lesson in what I learned. If you don't rid yourself of the H. Pylori bacteria, it can and will progress to stomach ulcers and on to stomach cancer. I took Mastica (Mastic Gum) and followed the instructions on the bottle, and I took Probiotics (mostly Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria Bifidum) Dr. Formulated Probiotics by Garden of Life which has to be refrigerated. Do not want to use the cheap shelf probiotics! I also recommend that you view the video by Dr. Alan Pressman on YOUTUBE.COM. This Doctor has treated patients for many years using probiotics and I followed some of what Dr. Alan Pressman recommended. The first probiotic that I took was by Soloray (Multidolphilus 12) which also has to be refrigerated. The probiotics that I have recommended can be found in you local health food store. I also recommend that you look at the video on YOUTUBE.COM and type Primitive Mommy and she will inspire you with her report on test results from the use of Manuka Doctor 24+ and how she also was cured of the Helicobacter Pylori infection. Please, please do not take this lightly. The H. Pylori bacteria and make your life miserable to the point that you can not even eat solid food. That is what happened to me. I was reduced to broth, jello, smoothies, cream soups, because the pain was so bad, and I was bloated and felt full even after drinking just water. This is a very serious infection. I learned about this product while searching for a way to get off of Prilosec OTC naturally. My family doctor told me I had acid reflux and put me on acid blockers (Prilosec, Protonix) for three years and every time I tried to get off of it, I felt the acid coming up in my throat and my stomach hurt. It is extremely effective at relieving gerd. Much more impactful than meds. I don't think it is simply the direct reduction of acid because I have taken things which reduce acid much more and did not experience this relief. Whatever the mechanisms responsible, this is incredible.

I recently decided that it was time to really take charge of my stomach health. I have been taking PPIs for more than 25 years as a result of developing two serious ulcers from taking Feldeine prescribed for fibromyalgia pain about 31 years ago. I have lived with ulcer pain for decades. Tried just about everything, treated for h. pylori which was effective, but that was more than 10 years after developing the ulcers in the first place. But somehow my gut never turned off. Recently, when I went searching for alternatives, as I was getting NO HELP from my medical community, I came across this product. I am in my second month--although the first month I used a different brand. I use it in conjunction with L-carnosine complex. Both of these recommendations came from AMAZON reviewers and their suggestions of what might work. I have tried traditional, homeopathic, naturopathic and all other kinds of remedies, to no avail. But now that I am about 5 weeks into the treatment--3 months was recommended at a minimum, I do note significantly less acid reflux. I must admit that I have finally almost given up dairy. And I think that in reality I am lactose intolerant, and this was never diagnosed/caught. So I am avoiding dairy, or using lactaid when I do eat dairy. I used to eat 3-4 servings a day. I am a firm believer in the health benefits of dairy, especially yogurt and whole milk. I also keep DGL on hand and use it when I have acid breakthrough. Excellent immediate relief. The reason for 4 stars? The verdict is still out. I have no side effects and this is pretty easy to take, but the capsules are a bit large, and i have trouble swallowing. This is to be taken on an empty stomach. So I get them down, but sometimes it takes a while. I usually try and take pills with food, much easier.

Best quality mastica you can buy! It definitely works. Yes it’s high in price but it does the job well. Don’t cheap out on buying less brands that might not be as strong!

I’ve bought this item many times previously, but this last time I purchased I noticed it has a sour smell to the container. I don’t remember the product having a strong sour odor before. It worked great previously. I will say I did take for about a week before noticing (give or take) and I had the worst stomachache ever. It could have been coincidence.
