Cherry Blossom Girls 4: A Superhero Adventure

Getting hooked at the beginning, waiting for the author to figure out what to do next, instead of at the end when he's done. Make no mistake, I love this series. CBG is what got me started on LitRPG, and I inhale these volumes as soon as they come out, and then whine and complain that the next one is taking soooooo long to publish. Mr. Cooper - if you're reading this review - please don't do a 'Wheel of Time' on us, and make us wait 10 years to finish the series, and depart this world on us before you're done.I think what I like most about this series is that the protagonist Gideon is kind of a douche. He's a bada** in the making, for certain, but that he comes across as a a guy that makes mistakes, has a crap load of stuff going on, gets his arse handed to him on occasion, and is discovering himself along the way, makes the story WAY more enjoyable, and WAY less predictable.I've totally enjoyed this series, and this episode of the CBGs in particular. You rock, Mr. Cooper. Can't wait for the next installment.

This was definently a Harmon Cooper book. The character lacked a personality, the story lacked depth, and there wasn't a hint of realism to be found.Basically, Gideon is the bad guy, the antagonist are illogical and unrealistic bad guys, and the everyone in the story either has a personality disorder or mental illness.

In this volume we learn about Father, Gideon levels up and gets pegged as a Terrorist, the CBGS acquire a pseudo hostage, and Dorian gets rescued.We also catch a glimpse of Gideon’s mother and uncle, there’s even a bit of How Heavy This Axe thrown in the mix.

I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to the next one with great anticipation. I love the characters, the humour, the story. These books contain everything thing I like in a story. A story of this genre doesn't get any better as far as I am concerned.

I stumbled upon Cherry Blossom Girls on a chance buy, and now I can't stop reading. I am mobilized in the desert and reading helps pass the time. Cherry Blossom Girls has surpassed many of my all-time favorites, and rests solidly near the top. I highly recommend this as it is a great read, and a great way to disappear from reality for a bit.

Guidion and the CBGs are in for a rough ride, Mother and Angel are chasing them but their not going to abandon their friends. With Father's help Guidion unlocks more secrets and it's game on! The book like the rest of the series will keep the pages turning.

A very nice adrenalin filled ride with the chance for it to blow up in your face. It was wonderfully exciting and heart pounding every second.. Waiting for the next book in this series.. Keep up the awesome work Harmon.

Could not put it down had me reading most the night will be sure to buy the next one this series is quickly becoming one of my favorites book 4 was so fun looking forward to book 5 and 6
