ChangTa RYQ Stainless Steel Garden Hose Adapter Convert to x 3/4" Male NPT SUS304

Considering where this was manufactured, I was a bit skeptical. Boy was I wrong! This is a well made part. Not cast, but machined out of bar stock. Threads were were good, no burrs or chatter marks. Thick walls and smooth faces. The only thing that caught me by surprise was the inside of the 1 inch port was threaded. Not that it matters. Worked very well for my application.

Visually a nicely machined part, but the NPT side threads were not cut deeply enough. The rule of thumb for me is it should thread on a least three turns of thread. This would barely do two. This is common with Chinese-made pipe fittings. Fortunately I have a good pipe thread die and was able to recut it. Otherwise it would have likely leaked under pressure. With that modification, it works great. The hose side is fine with a good flat surface for the hose washer to seal against.

This is a well machined fitting thAt will adapt a garden hose on one end to pipe thread on the other.

Threading is terrible. On the 3/4" NPT side, I cannot engage even one entire thread. Very weak connection.Do not Buy this product. Expensive and a complete waste of money.
