Couldn't hold over 1200 pounds?** A: The rating on the system itself says 3500 Lbs. Keep in mind that the two people that are picking up the object would have to be able to carry that much weight. Personally, we used this system to move about 4 months ago and it worked great. We were able to move all of furniture easily and quickly. The heaviest object that we picked up was a steel/concrete cabinet that was like a secure vault. It probably weighed close to 800-1000 lbs. That was difficult to lift just because of the weight on my shoulders but not because the system couldn't handle it. Also we were able to lift all of our dressers and chests without any issue. The length of the straps were long enough to span the whole length of the dressers which made it much easier. Overall this system really helped us in our move. We didn't use it for everything but all the large and heavy pieces we used it and it worked great. Any time I do a move from now on I will be bringing this system with me. **Q: What’s strap size of Pro Lift 3500** A: Includes 2 harnesses and one 12 ft. x 5 in. lifting strap **Q: Do items wabble when carrying because there is only one strap?** A: When picking an item you need both hands straight as possible. Although when going upstairs the top person maybe only be able to use one hand so that person is basically just helping distribute the weight while the bottom person holds the item balanced. If you can afford it, I would highly recommend this product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended for moving large items *by T***Y on July 18, 2015* The Nielsen heavy duty moving strap comes with two harnesses with buckles, the large strap, a carry bag, directions and tutorial DVD. I used this strap to move a high value machine ($30k) from a basement to the garage. The machine weighed about 350 lbs., made of metal so all sides were slick and would have been hard to manage without this strap when going up stairs. This strap system is very high quality and is capable of lifting much more than we did. The buckles are easy to use. The harnesses were very comfortable to use and saved our backs. It takes a little practice to get the hang of using these but it didn't take long to get it done. Moving something lighter like a washer, dryer or refrigerator would be cake compared to what we were moving.
