Do I need to be careful with amethyst or clear quartz coming into contact with water or sunlight?

amethyst can be exposed to sun lite for ashort time. It will fade if exposed for along time. about a hour in the morning will be ok. clear qartz the sun wont hurt it.just don't start a fire with it.

so far it has not worked for me. But i do believe they should. I am trying. Good Luck

How do you know what crystal is right for yourself?

I am no expert, but what I have found in my experience is you find one that "feels" right for you.. From what I've seen, its not set in stone (no pun intended.. Lol) as to which one you pick... Favorite color, favorite crystal... Etc.. I like amethyst. It resonates with me. Have fun with it!
