Why does the material description say 'metal'?

Good question? I have 2 of them and they are flexible like plastic, it seems like clear laminate over paper.

Its laminated very good quality. It is front and back, if you post it on your wall order two so you can see both sides. Or you could use a hole punch to add a ring hanger to one of the corners to hang and easily flip it over to see the other side.
