Child Safety Cabinet Locks - Sure Basics Drawer Locks Baby Proofing White 6 Pack

At first I found the instructional pictures hard to follow but they have a demo video link in the instructions. I'm so happy they come with an instructional pamphlet. I didn't see it at first, and trying to figure out how to adjust the locks to the right size was getting the best of me. It turns out the first lock I got was already adjusted to a specific length and I don't know if I can readjust it, it doesn't seem like I can. The rest were not adjusted so it was easy to get those to the right length. The adhesive on the back is really strong I like that, but please be aware so that you don't prematurely think they don't work, that the instructions say to allow the tape on the back 24 hours to dry. I'm glad I read that first. It also comes with extra tape! Hurray!! Well my daughter is 8 months old and she's into everything already so these are going up on the toilet and the cabinets in the kitchen because the sliding mechanism that unlocks these, it's definitely not something she can figure out. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

These work better than any other child locks that we have tried in the past. My only issue with them is the locking side of them. Once they have been locked in place it is very difficult to reset the lock. I recently put one of these on a door and I forgot that I had put it on the door so when I went to open the door without undoing the latch, I accidentally pulled some of the latch through the locking side. So now there is more slack in it than I would like and I am unable to refit it. Other than this, I love these!

Best product for babyproofing drawers and cabinets, we purchased enough to close all of our lower kitchen cabinets and bedroom drawers, a lifesaver so you don't go crazy chasing your toddler.EDIT: we have had them now for over a year and they still keep our toddler out of things, great product.

so far so good. only have been in use for a week now and has kept baby out of cabinets. easy to mount and to operate.

So far these are working great for us! I am using them on some cabinets and drawers. I am very please with how easy they are to adjust and put on. My son can no longer empty everything onto the floor!

I've had these on my cabinets now for two days and my 15 months hasn't been able to rip them off yet so I'm loving them. Especially the fact that I didn't have to drill holes in my cabinets!!!!!

Great product! I tried other brands of the same thing and they do not work as well as the sure basic ones! Worth every penny!! :)

Hold up ok for the price

I used these to keep my cat from my cupboards. He would get into them and make a mess so I had to opt for these. They work well and I'd recommend.

These cabinet locks are great! I purchased similar ones from another company that popped off easily and the straps were more difficult to use. It takes a while to learn how to use these locks one-handed, but it is possible 🙂 My LO hasn't been able to open any of the cabinets or drawers so far and it's been approximately one week.Pros:- Decent price- Fast shipping (I have Prime)- Safe and sturdy design (we haven't had any structural issues so far and the straps are easy to tighten, so there is almost no space in the cabinet or door opening)Cons:- Will most likely be a pain to remove when we don't need them anymore (although I heard that heating the glue with a blow dryer helps with removal)- You have to be quite inventive when there is no wall or cabinet side to stick the other end of the lock - we have a set of drawers on one side with that problem, but we attached a lock between two drawers and another lock to the bottom of the cabinet and it worked!!Overall, I would buy these locks again and would recommend this brand to any parent with an adventurous toddler!

I ordered these cuz my cat learned how to open the fridge and he's a frickin chonker. kept eating all my deli meats and leaving the door open cuz he's a dick. Anyway, these things work pretty good but the adhesive pads come unstuck after a while, I usually have to change it every couple months then its good for a bit. Would have given it 5 stars but ol Gordo still gets his salami for a treat once in a while

These install easily with the 3M tape, easy to use and keeps your little bugger OUT of the cupboards. Yes, little bugger being our 1 year old cat who can open the cupboards and knock the treats out onto the floor. Sure, the dogs don't mind they get to score too. NOT anymore !!! Your locked out. Buy them, you'll be glad you did.

I really like these locks for our house. They are made of quality materials. My only issue was most of our locks were already set when we received them, and once you set them you can't change the length. That was a bit annoying but we worked with what we had instead of returning them.Also, it is important to try and not let your baby watch you unlock them. Our baby is a year old and I can already see her interest in the lock so I'm sure her desire to see how it works is not far behind!
