Valley Forge, American Flag Pull-Down, 8', 100% Made in USA, Sewn Stripes and Embroirdered Stars

This flag is incredible, the picture doesn't do it justice. The colors are more rich than the seller's picture would suggest (blue and red is dark and rich). The fabric is not too thin as others have suggested... it's a flag, it isn't a sleeping bag. The aging is definitely intense but if you're wanting a flag that looks like it's been around for 240 years than it should be intense. The stitching is high quality, the fabric is high quality, this flag is amazing. Buy one now before they realize it's too cheap for the quality and raise the price!

Upon receiving this flag, I was surprised at the weight of the material. All the seams were intact, straight, and accurate. The "aging" of the flag is perhaps a slightly bit overdone but as I have been looking at it in my home office for the last several weeks, I have come to really appreciate the look. Someone in another review stated that it looked like an oil rag from his garage... I have recently been in the rafters of my garage and many of the fabric contents in cardboard boxes did not look as good as this flag does. In order to remove some of the tea staining... I suppose if you wanted to do so, you could wash it before hanging. Maybe hang it outside in windy weather to fray the edges a bit (although I believe that might take some time due to the heft and weave of the fabric...). I must say that I like it the way it is... Displaying it makes me feel nostalgic and patriotic (in a local homegrown neighborly kind of way). I really love this flag. My only wish is that a larger one (e.g. 4X6ft) was available.

Ladies and Gentleman, this flag is absolutely gorgeous! I read previous reviews and understood that the size is roughly 30 x 55, I believe it can be stretched if needed. I plan on framing and hanging so it actually works out better for me. Although after seeing it in person I am ordering another one for the front of the house! The colors are rich and beautiful, the tea stain is very unique and adds a lot of drama and variations. Fabric quality and stitching are perfect. Honestly better than I expected and I am so pleased with this purchase. Great job, Valley Forge!!!

I love these buntings. I purchased them elsewhere several years ago and have enjoyed hanging them below all our front windows. We live in a Colonial style house in New England, so they are perfect to add some patriotic decor without being tacky. I love the tea stain, but it does wear off over time. Each year I would re-stain them myself, to extend their life, because the overall quality is very nice - a thick sturdy cotton. Unfortunately the wind has whipped them enough that many of the grommets are falling out of the buntings, so it's time for new ones. I ordered 9 (thrilled with the price of twenty-four dollars each, because years ago I paid forty-two dollars each!), received them quickly, opened them and was disappointed to find that 2 of the 9 were obviously made by a different manufacturer, because they are lighter in color and not reversible like the other 7 are (as well as my original 9 were). You can see the fronts and backs in the photos I've attached. Amazon is sending me 2 replacements, but I am a little afraid that the replacements will have the same problem. If they were all consistent in quality, I would give them over 5 stars, but I have to remove a star for the poor quality.UPDATE: If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. I received the 2 replacement buntings and unfortunately, I received 1 "good" one (thicker, double-sided, even staining), and 1 "bad" one (thinner, single-sided, lighter staining). Unfortunately though, the "good" one has more of an olive green tea stain color, which does not at all match the other 7 from my first order - they are what they should be, which is a nice brown tea stain color. I still love the look, so I'm going to order several more, hoping that at least 2 will be "good," and I'll return the "bad" ones. Just beware that if you order several, chances are, they will not all match in quality.UPDATE 2: I ordered 5 more, hoping to receive just 2 more "good" ones in that group, and was surprised to receive 4 "good" ones and only 1 "bad" one. I am definitely disappointed that it took ordering/receiving a total of 16 to ensure I would have 9 matching buntings. I still stick to my 3.5 star rating due to quality inconsistencies.

Bought this for my Dad on Fathers Day a year ago. Mom said she thought it was Mel Gibson from "The Patriot" in the front yard as he was running it up the flag pole. Such a cool looking flag and a great quality. People slow down on the road to point and stare at this flag. Some reviewers are offended at the aged, wrinkled look of this flag and they are free to hold those opinions but I'm telling you this flag gives me a better feel for the blood sweat and tears that went into making this the great country that we are. A truly authentic look and super quality flag. My Veteran Father and USA loving momma proudly wave it.

I love this flag! It looks beautiful against our dark cedar home. I just purchased my second one after the one that was 4 years old was finally just too faded to fly this year. No issues with quality. If you’re worried about it being too dark, be aware that it does fade out some in the sun and I think it really just got more beautiful as time went on.

I buy one every year we live on the lake and have alot of wind holds up all year

This flag is fabric, not polyester...which is wonderful. It was a bit wrinkly out of the package but has started to straighten out nicely. I did not iron it before hanging.I am pleased with this quality flag. Also, it looks tea stained, not dirty which is exactly what I wanted.LOVE THAT IT IS MADE IN USA!! 😊🎉

Just received my Valley Forge Heritage Series 50 star US Flag today 26 Sept 2020. The colors shown in the picture are different from the colors of the flag I received. The red stripes are maroon and the white stripes ans stars are light brown/tan. It does not look tea-stained or discolored as the colors are the same throughout the flag. Disappointing.

The most beautiful flag I have ever owned by far. Highly recommend you purchase one for your selves.
