These are a great alternative to the liquid. The liquid does absorb faster so you can feel better sooner but if you time out your day and meals along with when to take these pills they work great. I usually start to notice a difference about 15-25 minutes after I take one, then I start feeling better and can breath easier. As far as how hard they are to open, I had zero problems opening them actually. If you take 4 blisters and take each of them apart from each other there is a triangle on the inside corner of each one, once you peel that up it peels the top plastic off and the pill can pop through the foil extremely easily. I understand feeling weak with anemia it can get awful and any work even if it’s just lifting a finger can cause you to feel horrible! Really though I felt so weak and out of breath this morning and opening a blister to get my iron pill out wasn’t bad at all. I find opening up the liquid bottle and having to push down more strenuous than opening the blister packets that will wear you out when your iron is low and then you’ve got to catch your breath before you can even take it. Now, as far as constipation goes, no problem! These work just like the liquid, zero constipation at all with these.Just take the iron pill before you start feeling weak so it doesn’t take a while for it to kick in.

Good size tabs easy to swallow no stomach pain like from other iron pills + from herbs & real natural products

The pills are easy to swallow. Taste not an issue because down the little pill with a proper glass of water. Within a few days I felt marked improvement in energy levels. I love the idea that one pill provides me with the vitamin B’s and iron in one fell swoop. I just have to develop a stratagem to get the bloody buggers out of their encapsulated prison. Safety first!

The liquid version was suggested to me by midwife and OB years ago when I was pregnant and nursing 20 years ago. I have been anemic, so I decided to try the pills (the liquid tastes ghastly). I started 4 months ago and just had new labs drawn showing that my iron levels have improved, but that I need to increase my dose to 3 a day. I just ordered more, but I will join in with the reviewers that say that bubble packaging is difficult to open. There is no cutout to help tear the paper off the foil so you can push the tablet through. It is far easier to use scissors. I think this is probably a great safety precaution for those who have small children in the home, but for older users, such as myself, I wish there was an option to simply buy a bottle and not have so much packaging. I don't need each one separated, especially when taking three per day.

I have anemia and I take the Floradix liquid, but it was annoying carrying around a mini ice chest with ice in it, to keep the liquid refrigerated. Now, when I travel, I have a different option -- I can take the pill form until I am back home. The downside is you have to take it twice a day instead of one liquid shot. It also doesn't absorb as fast at the liquid, but the upside is that it doesn't have that bad taste to it! I'm not complaining, I am so happy with this product and the makers, but the liquid does not taste well. Compare it to cod liver oil! Yuck, but I am so grateful that this is made from fruits and vegetables and is not synthetic, and it does not constipate you like mostly all the other iron supplements can.

We used to get these in a bottle and they were not individually wrapped. Now the boxed container comes with each pill wrapped. A bit of a pain when I have 4 people in my house using these.The pill itself is easy to swallow - there is some taste, but I notice it less when I swallow it quickly. One of the few iron pills that has no caused constipation or stomach issues for anyone in my house.

I had plastic surgery in Feb of 2022. I was told by my surgeon to take these to help keep my iron levels up. I took them as instructed and the day I did the labs for my surgery, I had no problem whatsoever with my iron levels. They were not that expensive and very easy to take.
