Bought this for my 13 month old granddaughter! Her whole family loves it! I think everyone should have a Tonie box for their littles! They love it that it is portable, excellent sound quality, stable, fun and it’s so cute! My garddaughter adores the Tonie that goes on top! She has learned so much from it!

Update: I haven't really dove into it, but our battery doesn't last as long as it says it should, i feel like im charging it veryyyyy often. Which is okay, but just so you know. Also, it does not have an off button, you have to let it sit to turn off which I feel contributes to that problem. Super great! I just wanted a little radio like thing for our toddler so he'd stop using our phones and this worked! After awhile hes able to open, close place and take off the tonies himself! This thing is sturdy too. The only downside is if he has it sitting a certain way in the car, on its side, it will get stuck in repeat and its soooo annoying. Other than that I recommend this! And if $20 a tonie is too much for you, get a custom one and record some of their favorite songs/stories! Great value for money (on sale), size is perfect and its easy to move/take with you. Its soft and squishy on the sides for when it gets dropped and it works great for my under 1 and now 1 year old! Looks cute too with the little ears. *Over time with how pleasantly aggressive my child is, scuffs and marks do happen on the white park from the Tories, I saw theres little sticker cover for that, but it will happen!*

My grandson is 3 and I brought this for him . The best gift ever! Educational and it’s sturdy ! He loves it and plays the songs all day long! Thank you ☺️

I’m so excited about purchasing my first tonies, it’s so cute and fun, easy to assemble with soft material for little hands and a great size to place onto a shelf. I plan to make a tonies station for the Littles to enjoy upon free will. For now this plays right before nap time and during lunch time. I look forward to collecting so many characters (Daycare)

I am pleased with my decision. At first. I debated on purchasing the newest model or this one. My toddler is 2 years old. He only needed the songs and calming music. I do not regret the decision. Also , this helped my toddler remain in the bedroom during nap time. He enjoys the tonie. It fits well in small spaces, I like the charging port. I just have to place it on the port.

I bought this for my granddaughter and loves it. My great granddaughter saw it and now she wants one. Now I know what to get her for her birthday!

I purchased this for my grandson when he was 14 months old he loves to sing and he loves to dance and it did not take him very long to figure out how the little figurines make his favorite music play. I find the little figurines while seemingly expensive work very well, and some contain as many as 20 songs. The box itself is easy to use and easy to charge however the tapping on the side of the box to change the track while it does its job Sometimes does not cycle through the songs in order and just repeat the song over and over. Well, I have not figured out everything. It totally serves its purpose to entertain my grandson and give him hours of enjoyment. I can see my grandson using this for several years to come as a quality of music is very good. The size is perfect and it seems very durable as it is rolled into the floor many times.

I have a few things. My first impression is that the box is small enough that my almost 2-year-old granddaughter can carry it around. The inner shell is plastic I'm assuming, but the outer shell is a really squishy foam covered by whatever colored cloth you chose. This makes it really easy for them to hold because they can kind of squish it and grip it without hurting it. I also dropped it a few times just to test it out and it bounces nicely without being damaged because of the foam outer shell. The ears on top help to control things like volume. One is noticeably bigger than the other so it's easy to tell them apart. They're easy to pinch between your fingers to change the volume. Possibly her fingers will be too small, but this has a youngest age of 3 and they could definitely pinch the ears. The box does require 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal. I have T-Mobile 5 GHz. It took some time but I figured out that you could piggyback a 2.4 GHz signal off your wi-fi even if it's a 5 GHz wi-fi. The box does not stay connected to wi-fi. That's only used to update with new material when you get a new character and for the initial setup. Once you have everything set up, you don't need wi-fi anymore. The box can go anywhere. There is no on off switch. In order for the box to turn off, it basically has to be left alone for 10 to 15 minutes. However as soon as you add a character to the top it will turn back on again. If you get a storage tote or something to hold your characters, make sure the characters cannot sit on top of the box or it will never shut off. LOL There is no battery level indicator so it's sometimes difficult to tell how much battery is left. In my opinion, the charger should be left somewhere where the box can be placed at night so it charges overnight and is ready for play the next day. Since my granddaughter is not quite 2, our plan is to set the charging base in her room and use the night time lullabies and white noise characters while she sleeps and allow the box to charge at the same time. I'm very excited for this gift for her. I've already had a lot of fun playing with it. The one star deduction is for no battery indicator and no on/off switch.

Best gift you can give to a kid. The songs are so cheerful and uplifting.

This is an amazing toy/music/story player. Children of all ages can enjoy this and I love the fact it doesn’t have a screen but can keep a child entertained for just as long. Only downfall is the cost of each character.

Replace screen time

This is a go to for my 3 year old daughter! It is so easy for her to use and one of our most use “toys”. I will be purchasing another for my other daughter’s first birthday. The tonie characters are a little expensive, but we have about 6 that we rotate through and the creative one is amazing to record anything you want. We have recorded some family members saying good night/ reading stories, and some of her favorite songs.
