Microwave protection
This meter is worth the money. A new cell tower build near my home that was broad casting high energy packet bursts, which is common from high elevations, but it is dangerous in a subdivision. By using this device I was warned of the high energy bursts and shown the location of the tower which enabled me to contact the company that was respoisable and discuss the issue which stopped the problem. I would highly recomend this product and I would recomend buying a Geiger Counter. I have found that some employees responsible for cell towers lack the basic education concerning electromagnetic radiation. Just because it isn't ionizing radiation doesn't mean it won't cook you from the inside out. If your home WIFI is a high enough frequency and wattage it will cause irreparable eye damage, with this device you can keep your family safe.

Very nice test device
This is a really nice unit. It doesn't look like it will be that good, but the display is fine for its use case. The different screens do a great job of focusing the test to a specific use or even multiple testing concurrently. I use it to see how much RFI/ EMI is coming out of my House of Gadgets. It was surprising to see how much EMI is radiating out of my old alarm clock radio. I have a lot of electronic equipment, things like ham radio, power inverters, EV, and other noisy emitters. It's nice to check them and see if they are a source of interference for my ham radio setup. Checking the power emission from the mesh wifi endpoints is also a good thing to do, make sure they're not too close to where we sleep.

EMF meter with many features for a low price
This meter packs a lot of information into a small, hand-held device. EF (electric field) and EMF (electromagnetic field) at 300Hz-100kHz and RF (radio frequency: 100kHz-300GHz) frequencies are detected. All three values are shown at the same time with their appropriate units. The display can be modified, and values shown graphically instead of digitally. A spectrum analyzer display shows the detected RF frequencies in real time. A User Menu is used to set initial values and options. The device retains and shows the current date and time. There is a speaker and a way to set audible alarm settings. A USB-A cable is included to connect to your PC with downloadable software. This cable also serves to recharge the included battery via USB. Four front panel buttons are used to navigate the features. A nice instruction booklet is provided along with a small card showing safe and dangerous levels of radiation. I'm just beginning to investigate what all this device can tell me about my surroundings.

It's feature rich and affordable.
To learn its many capabilities, 👉YouTube Search GQ EMF - 390 All said, it's a good scanner, Removable 18650 battery (long use time)👍 Customizable User Interface👍 Multifunctional display options👍 Meters, Graphs, Data logging, Lets you see Active Offenders in multiple ways👍 Screen Auto rotates👍 Has more functions than advertising 'reveals'👍 You will be surprised when you see all the "information" that we are bathing in. Digital RF shows a real-time "Bytes" being sent/received. (that's 1 0011 0 11 00111 11 0000 0 0 1) Bytes packets of info from possibly a cell phone, wi fi router, or whatever. (my range is --> 3,846 - 6,947,776 and constantly changing) If you have a Smart Meter, you need to learn of its Dirty Electricity producing dangers. All Electrical Companies are "pulling the wool over your eyes" Reason for 4 stars - Product support - They do provide a complete user manual in .pdf Lack of how-to videos by the manufacturer. They do have some, but the majority of learning how to use the EMF - 390 is from various YT content providers. A little from this one, a little from that one. Needs a complete "How to" video collection.

GET IT NOW! Great investment to measure EMFs of light fixtures, tv, Wi-Fi…the list is endless.
Thanks to this nifty device, I discovered the “safe zone” for my smart tv is 4.5’. Wi-Fi router 10’, plus based on reading, we now we shut if off every night. After you measure the signal from wireless earbuds, you will throw them out and get wired earbuds. After you measure your cellphone while it’s connected on a call, you will use the speaker more and avoid holding it near your brain. This technology comes at a price. Protect your heath. Educate yourself. I plan on taking it to hotels from now on so if Wi-Fi signal is too strong I can request a different room. Useful.

Fun toy and semiprofessional meter ... proved I was NOT crazy! .. Nice party trick too.
I have always wanted one of these. Mostly a toy but can also be used to be sure not spending ton of time enveloped in electrosmog. Moved into new house, new bedroom. Was getting poor sleep despite nature air and positive lifestyle. Thought maybe it was the smart meter or dirty electricity / power line a few feet from bedroom. Nah...thats crazy... well this proved the AC power line and smart meter pulses were putting out bigly, unsafe numbers. Started sleeping another way or another room and no issue. Later pics showing of smart meter with and without faraday cage. Lastly showing not all AC adapters are equal, some put out WAY more radiation, even at less voltage/amp/wattage and plugged into same device+wall socket! Can inspect workspace and other areas spending long times. Beyond those uses, its mostly a fun toy. Glad I finally got one. Havent plugged it into a computer to parse data, not sure use of that feature for me. Battery is super long. Includes case that fits on belt which is nice but not easy to open Velcro for quick check. Alternative product would be some usb or PCI wide band radio device for computer (with way more features), but this meter's ease of use means I actually use it, and often, even months after purchase. Everybody finds it kinda interesting, skeptics and tinfoil hats alike.

Advanced Portable Rechargeable EMF Meter GQ EMF-390
This EMF Meter works great! It is a great value for the price! It comes with simple written instructions, which is much more convenient than going on the internet. Reading and using the instructions is very important, until you get use to using this device. It is handheld, light and very portable. It also has a chargeable removable battery, and this unit can be directly charged with the supplied USB cable. You can't go wrong by buying this device!

Doesn't do what I wanted/needed/implied
Bought this thing to help track down some Garage Door opener interference I was having. Thought this thing had a mode that would let you specify a frequency, and then provide some locate function. So you could say "show me 900mhz" and then turn in a circle, and slowly start working your way toward the source. Nope. Not that I could find. the manual and blurbs for the product all read like crazypants "omg 5g's" or "EMF is giving my children autism". Anywho, returned it within a couple hours of receiving it. Shame too, I really like my Geiger counter from this company, but this thing just feels like it was made to exploit people.

Great design
Love the concept. Lots of useful information and seems to work around phones and microwaves - it definitely has a reading for each.
